Great dealership. Cannot say enough good things about my experience here. Very personalized service. From the sales rep, to the manger & finace person, they all were outstanding. Love my new Jeep Grand Cherokee & will definitely buy from here again.
My family has been doing business with Bachman Chrysler (formerly Bales) for several years.
The staff's friendliness, loyalty to the customer and precise approach to buyer needs and budget are second to no other car dealer in our area.
Before we visited Bales for the first time, we checked most of the car dealers in Kentuckiana area and we experienced lack of knowledge about their cars, distant and cold approach to the customer as well as inflated dealers cost.
Since 2011 my family has bought 6 vehicles, recommended Bachman Chrysler services to several friends and family members and used the technical support and expertise when needed.
I recommend Bachman Chrysler and commend Keith Johnson for helping my family and friends for the last 6 years.
I bought a car from Bachman about 4 months ago and am extremely happy with my purchase. They provided great customer service and made the experience a pleasure! I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in purchasing a new car!!
One of the best experiences by far I’ve ever had with buying a vehicle from a dealership. Great service from Josh Brewer very professional from the beginning he never pressured us into buying anything hr let us take multiple vehicles on test drives finally found a vehicle that my wife and I loved and we are excited to continue using this dealership for service and future purchases. I would recommend Bachman to anyone in the market for a new or used vehicle. Thank you Bachman and Josh Brewer for getting us in a 2014 Ram 2500 Cummins! We love it! Be sure to ask Josh Brewer he is the best!
Leased my second Jeep Wrangler from Bales; now Bachman and have referred friends and family to the dealership because of the outstanding staff I have dealt with! Keith J. works diligently to find the exact vehicle and put the deal together. The sales staff is very knowledgeable and made sure to explain all options to me at delivery! Will continue to do business!!
Outstanding service and technicians with superb knowledge of all vehicles (not just Chrysler/Dodge). Paul Wurtsmith has always went above and beyond to ensure that the service we received was excellent, to include services outside of normal business hours i.e. staying after, answering calls regarding questions/issues! He and his service team deserve far more than 5 stars!
Very Great service Department this is the only reason I come to the dealership The staff goes above and beyond expectations. Thanks Paul Wurthsmith and Technicians..
Had very bad experience with Bales service dept.i received very poor customer service. I dropped my car off 7am was told they would look at it by the end of the day and call me back, i never received a call i had to call them the next morning was told it would be looked at i explained that i needed my car to go to Ohio as my brother was having open heart surgery they were so unsympathetic to my situation i still did not hear from them so i went there and was told we looked at and we let it run" for 45 mins and we cant find anything wrong witn it, my headlights were flashing on and off while i was driving. The manager was really really rude and told me to take my car and leave.wow that's good business huh. Needless to say took it yo another dealership and they found the problem.
Jeff did a great job of explaining the vehicle to me, he was easy to talk to and there were no pressures to buy. He made sure I was happy with my purchase.
We just purchased our second new vehicle in two years from Bales. Could not be happier. The experience is always great, and we will continue to be repeat customers! A special thank you to our salesman, Wydell, for making the experience easy and comfortable.
My wife Janice bought a 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe and was helped by HENRY LEE in used cars and was verry pleased with his caring and servicing also she appreciated Scott in used cars and Dave in service dept, She says thanks !
We purchased a used vehicle for our daughter from Bales last week. All of our interactions with Emmett Exum (sales person) and Eric Hughes (used car sales manager) were very professional and low pressure. Felt like with got a decent vehicle and a good price. Dealer doc fee was $299, higher than some..lower than most these days. One of the second row seat belts was not working and Bales has agreed to replace it (taking it in to their service department this week).
At first everything seemed great.
We received service right away, Eric seemed very polite and not pushy. I was planning on upgrading to a newer SUV. I was getting a loan through the credit union that I work at. I had done some research on the car I wanted to look at before I even went to the lot. I'm new to buying cars, but I'm not an idiot. I also make sure I have someone I trust double check before I make a purchase just in case they see something I missed. I went to the lot, looked at the car, got the purchase agreement and thought everything was fine. The car looked great and had low miles on it. Perfect.
I took the purchase agreement into work the next day so my manager could look it over and get the loan finalized. First red flag comes.
The price we had discussed was more than the vehicle was worth. Only be around $340 or so. Shouldn't be a big deal for them to knock the price down even $200, meet me in the middle. I as willing to pay up to $200 out of pocket for what the loan didn't cover. I sent Eric the message about the price and asked if we could renegotiate. He immediately got defensive saying that our numbers were wrong, argued and even asked to speak to my manager. So, I had my manager call him. I sat in the room while they spoke on the phone. They argued back and forth on the price and Eric kept insisting he was giving me the perfect deal and that my manager was just trying to use me as a sale (Yes, because my manager who is trying to look out for my best interest and gets zero points for my loan sale is the one trying to take advantage of me here)
My manager said it was one of the worst deals he has ever seen, and he does about 4-6 auto loans a week.
So I took my managers advice and walked away.
I checked their website about a week later and they had lowered the price by $221.
If they had knocked that off in the first place instead of arguing with us he would have had a sale.
Update: The price just dropped another $558
I would highly recommend staying away from here.. multiple people I know have had bad experiences with the quality of the vehicles they've got from here including myself.. I bought a 2014 Kia Forte and granted they got me approved and in it fairly easy although they weren't willing to negotiate the price at all and a week after I bought it I realized the breaks and rotors were completely shot.. took it back in to see if they'd help and they told me they wasn't that wore down when I got it and I wore off 70% off them in the week I had it.. I sold the vehicle after having to use the roadside assistance 5 times in the year and a half I had it before the factory warranty was even expired so I could get the extended warranty money back.. and after 6 weeks waiting for the check they only gave me half of the money back.. the place is a complete joke and if you even think about buying either a new or used vehicle from here I'd bring your personal mechanic and read every single letter of every single word of every paper they put in front of you..
THE GOOD: Eric Borden was our salesperson and he did a great job helping us find the specific car we wanted. We did not feel pressured by him. We did not purchase the same day were first visited. We communicated with him to let him know we were going to buy. We were very impressed by his professionalism he portrayed.
THE BAD: We are extremly disappointed with the office staff at Bales. The process after the sale has not been smooth. A few days after our purchase we were called back to sign papers that they completed incorrectly. After waiting, until the last week before our paper tag expired they said there was problems. After several phone calls, dealership visits and having to threaten to return the car to the dealership, we received our plate. PROCEED WITH CAUTION!!
