Atmosphere here is always wonderful. Food is excellent. Will def be back again.
Probably my favorite place in Louisville. Love the atmosphere, drink choices, and menu choices. They have a great lunch menu selection as well. I've never ordered anything that wasn't delicious from here and the staff is always very nice and professional.
If you want to try Cajun cooking in a way that is accessible (and very tasty) then Cafe Lou Lou is the place. Family friendly too.
Seems like the service has gone down and the price has gone up. Too bad no longer a member of the Louisville Originals.
Let's start off with dessert. I hunt out great bread pudding like vegans hunt mushrooms or something. Theeir bread pudding here is the greatest bread pudfing in all the land.
Whoever the chef should be given the keys to the city, because everything here is second to none.
The braised short rib pizza is the best pizza I've ever had. It's better than any pizza I had in Italy. It's the stuff that dreams are made of. The carbonara pasta is mind boggling. The crawfish pasta will blow your mind & the hot brown pizza is also incredible.
This has become one of my weekly staples thanks to the great service and consistently delicious food. You really can't go wrong with their menu!
Service is excellent, food is stellar. You cannot go wrong here!
Great place! This is one of those places you would see featured on TV and say, "Hey, I need to check that place out." Have only been there once and had the Gumbo, which was awesome, and I plan to go back and try rest of the menu. The bar area looked like they had a very good section but I was on a work trip, so had to pass this time.ha
Awesome shrimp and grits! Polenta sauce was amazing. Currently undergoing remodel. Can't wait to see what new place has to offer.
Great pizza fantastic baked wings. amazing salads. hearty pasta enough said.
Used to buy Cobb salads here 2-3 times a week. Noticed the quality was dropping. The final straw was when they gave me a salad with a rotten, blackened avocado on it. I swore off them for an entire year. Today I decided to give them another chance. Before leaving with my salad I opened it up to check on it. Sitting atop my salad was a clearly and visibly rotten avocado. I will never go back.
The food was good, but the restaurant is hard to find, tucked behind a bank. When we were there, we told the waitress that we were waiting for one more person to show up, but she kept asking if we were ready to order. We ordered an appetizer, but the last person still didn't arrive (he couldn't find the restaurant). It wasn't crowded, but we eventually felt pressured enough to put in our order before the last person arrived because our waitress asked again and again if we were ready. So, while the food was fine, I didn't appreciate being pressured when there were numerous open tables.
Decent food, decent price, nice atmosphere. Unfortunately when we went, our waitress kept asking if we were ready to order even though we told her several times we were waiting for someone else to arrive. The restaurant was not busy and many tables were still available, so we weren't sure what the rush was. Eventually, we felt so pressured that we went ahead and ordered. Our food arrived before the fourth member of our party arrived. Still, the food is good and I'd recommend this place for lunch or dinner Just be sure your whole party is there.
