I hosted a surprise engagement for my now fiance. Paschal's was very accommodating for me and my guest. The food was good and they allowed me and my guest to sit in the dining room and eat after our event. Great place to host an event, Sheila Flood the planner provided excellent service.

Food was good but the service was sub par. For the price you pay for food I would’ve expected better.

We went in with a reservation for 15 but they couldn’t put the tables together so our party was split up. There was supposed to be a person that sang to the birthday girl but they never came around to sing.

The waitress wasn’t as attentive as I would’ve liked.

My husband and I dined as Paschal's last Saturday. His college alumni association held their 30th anniversary celebration/dinner at Paschal's. The food and service were nothing short of superb. The food was fresh and well prepared. They even provided one of our table mates with a bottle of "hot sauce." We intend to make Paschal's our go-to place for dinner and Sunday brunch. Give it a try -- you won't regret it!

I decided to try this historic spot on a whim. First, let me say the brick architecture is absolutely beautiful. The service was a little slow, but my server was quite pleasant. I ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer and they were delicious. For my entree, I ordered the Rosemary roasted chicken with broccoli and sauteed green beans, but unfortunately I'm sad to say that they all were quite bland. Maybe the cook just didn't get it right that day, but I will still give them another shot because we all aren't always on our "A game".

We had a 6:30 reservation, party of 5. No problem being seated, although it was a slow Sunday evening. The food was excellent. The service was acceptable. Our waitress was pleasant, kept us informed, kept the glasses filled. It was obvious the establishment reads the reviews and is trying to do better. Definitely check it out, have a little patience, enjoy the food.

Great customer service ,great atmosphere and great food. The best yams ever. I hate that they ran out of macaroni and cheese. Being a resident of WISCONSIN, this was a delightful experience.

Finally tried the renowned restaurant, had to order the fried chicken aka "the gospel bird". I was Not disappointed. The chicken is cooked well without all the added seasoning to try and mask the good texture of the chicken itself. Ordered mac n cheese, collared greens as sides and peach cobbler for dessert. All were made to satisfactory standard, while the atmosphere was very hospitable and amiable. Great place to visit if you are new to ATL and or a good place to have an overall good meal

While in the Atlanta area for my nieces graduation I heard about this restaurant and decided to give it a try. Initially I made reservations online but later realized that I needed to modify the time. I called several times and was directed to voicemail each time. This alone should've discouraged me from ever visiting this restaurant. But instead I thought that I'd stop in for takeout before heading back home.
When I stopped in for take out I avoided valet and park in a spot out front designated for take out ordering. Once I entered the restaurant I approached the front counter and was made to wait for a few minutes while a male and female carried on a conversation as if a customer wasn't in front them. SMH. Once I was able to ask about placing an order I was directed to the bar where I placed my order.
I decided to try their fried chicken because in the reviews that I had read no one had anything negative to say. I specifically asked not be given any chickens legs in my order and was told that I would be charged an additional fee for the modification. I agreed to the fee and continued with my order. I wish I had checked my order when it arrived because l definitely did NOT get what I paid extra for. I paid extra to not get a chicken leg in my order but I did. Also the sides that I ordered with my meal where not the best tasting.
I ordered macaroni with cheese and collard greens as my sides but greens where bland. The mac & cheese barely had any cheese. It was the worst mac & cheese that I had ever paid for. Thankfully the chicken was as good as the reviews said it would be. The service I received from this restaurant was poor and the sides I ordered were also.
I emailed the restaurant about not receiving the modification that I paid for to my order but the only response I got was that I had reached the wrong department. I would not make the mistake of visiting this restaurant again.

I've been here a couple of times; once on a date and once for a birthday party. Both visits were enjoyable. The food and service were equally great. This is a great place to get a traditional southern home cooked meal without having to do the dishes.

Absolutely the worst out of town experience I've ever had! My family travelled from Charleston, SC to attend my cousin's graduation last week Sunday and prior to our arrival, reservations were made approximately one month ago! We came in at about 7:20 and we were asked to wait 20 minutes. Long story short 20 minutes turned into an hour and 20 minutes. When we were finally seated at 8:40 our waitress walked over and informed us that they ran out of crab bites, ribs, etcshe went back to the kitchen to confirm everything that they did not have but returned to let us know that the kitchen was closed! Now I understand this is a busy establishment, however being that seating should have been reserved before our arrival, we should have not had to wait to be seated. If someone from management explained that we could not be accommodated earlier, we would have simply found another place to have dinner; but after investing in so much time waiting to be seated we stayed! We all left upset, hungry, and unwilling to support this business ever again! FYI this is how black owned businesses get a bad reputation..

I love this place! Wonderful service all of the servers were well mannered and quick. We received our food in a timely manner and literally had no complaints they even made my sister a Shirley temple at her request! A must go in the city!

Awesome brunch! Denay exhibited phenomenal customer service. The fried chicken was fried to perfection and the Mac n cheese was delicious. What a great atmosphere. Excellent variety of food offerings for a Sunday brunch. I'll definitely be bringing my family back.

We had a reservation for 8 pm and we weren't seated till 920 pm. Once seated the waiting did not stop ! Once we placed our order at 940 and our food came out just before 11 pm. When we finally got our food it was flavorless and just gross. There were 5 of us and we each ordered something different and non of us liked our food. During this time our waitress never came by our table for refills or to ask if we needed anything. We had to call her to us and she would forget what we had asked her and for our drinks. Honestly we wanted to just walk out. The food and service was absolutely terrible and the bathrooms were not clean. I don't know if this I how the place normally runs, I hope not. If it is, I do not know how they stay in business.
