I go to Jinky's whenever I'm in LA. The breakfast selection is excellent and portions are available both large and small. Stay away from the pea guacamole though, it's not guacamole. Service is excellent too.

Breakfast at Jinky's always leads to a great experience. The servers are friendly and attentive, the food is fantastic, and the overall vibe of the place is sunny and warm.
Whether meeting with a few friends or having breakfast alone with a comic book at the counter, I find myself at Jinky's nearly every weekend.

Cafe in a tiny corner strip mall. Attached free parking lot only hold 10 or so vehicles. Metered street parking. Popular with the hipster crowd, locals, yuppy types. Good food, reasonably priced. Breakfast is the go-to meal option. Decent coffee.

I grew up going to Jinkys. It was one of my favorite breakfast spots in LA once upon a time. I'm not sure what happened. I moved away 6 years ago, and ate there again while back in town visiting. Things had gone down hill. The service was bad, the food was just ok. It's disappointing.

I totally love this place I highly recommended.. when you go, ask for Lucy or the manager and you'll get free drinks if you tell them that someone highly recommended to you these two persons or even the rest of the crew are so nice and friendly, always with a smile on their face and if you are not happy with your dish, they give you the option to change it with something else with no extra charge ;)I definitely recommend it.

O M G. I can say this is the best of the best chicken and waffles. Snoop dog you're correct my friend. The waffles are delicious not dry and so flavored and moisty. The chicken this is just too good. It Melts in your mouth. It's so juicy and tender. And with the gravy, this meal just takes you to heaven!! I'll never be happy with another place.Jinky's Cafe Sherman Oaks is best.

The menu is decent size. Lots of staff so the service is good. The place looks like it needs a make over from the 70's or 80's. Food was okay but nothing spectacular. Generally, all of the items are over priced. Yes you will get fed but if you want great food there are plenty of other spots along Ventura blvd to check out.
