This restaurant has been around for 20+ years with same owner. Elegant yet casual, romantic but does get crowded busy. A great place for a 2-hour relaxed European style dinner. They have good wine selection, or bring your own for a tiny corkage fee. Reservations recommend.

Food and service were both excellent. I had the green salad with figs and berries, topped with grilled shrimp and creamy goat cheese. It was delicious.

I always enjoy dining at Cafe Bizou. The food is exent and it has such a great ambiance. Such a cute and cozy restaurant with lots of charm.

The best is their corking fee is only $2. Nowhere in LA has a $2 corking fee.

Old valley standby for French style cooking of appetizers, meats, seafood. Reliable lobster bisque and French onion soup. modest wine list. You can be dressy or casual okay. Full bar. some Charming nooks for cozy seating. You can valet but no lot. street parking iffy.

The Food presentation is very appealing. The portions are rather small, but the food is tasty. They have to something about the awful BATHROOM SERVICE. The bathroom has only ONE stall, the smallest sink I've ever seen in a public BATHROOM and very poor air CIRCULATION!!! I did LOVE the idea that you can bring your choice of WINE and they open and serve it for you!!!
    LOVE THAT CONCEPT!!

Old school restaurant with white table cloths and helpful, friendly waiters. $20 Sunday brunch includes appetizer, main and dessert--wonderful flourless chocolate cake. The rest of the food was OK, not great. Nice atmosphere. Lots of celebrations, crowded but yet seemed intimate.

One of the truly French restaurant still left with reasonable prices in Los Angeles. Philippe is a great host the only thing I would add to this place is a Happy Hour Bar type scene. The service is friendly and professional, especially for Los Angeles, as they have a steady crew and I haven't noticed a revolving door even though I've been going there for years.

Food was excellent and price is very reasonable as well. This is a great little date spot. My only issue is with one of the servers. She is slow, doesn't check on you much, if at all and I felt like when we had questions she was quick and sharp. The other wait staff seemed to check on their tables better and were more personable. The other issue I had was she charged us a corkage feebut we bought our bottle at the bar while we waited for our table, and paid for it at the bar. If it wasn't for her I would give it 5 stars.

No surprise that this restaurant is always crowded. The food is good, the prices and bar drinks are good and you can bring in your own wine for a $2 corkage fee. Making a reservation is absolutely necessary for both lunch and dinner. I use Open Table to check out available times and make reservationsso easy. Although this restaurant is busy, it has never been so loud that you can not hear your dinner partnerswell behaved diners thank goodness.

Seated quickly. Food was really good and served within a reasonable time. Waiter was a little high strung - could've been more attentive & explained the menu better, but overall a positive experience.

Service and food very good. The main dining room reminds me of simpler and more formal times.

Good service, but the food is nothing to write home about. Potato leek soup and balsamic chicken were lacking in any kind of flavor, and the onion soup tasted of chicken broth instead of beef, which is not unheard of, but didn't translate well. Doesn't have much of a French feel, with most dishes being Italian or American inspired.
Not terrible good, just not great. But cozy and romantic atmosphere is nice, and the staff is very attentive.

Not pretentious, reliable at reasonable prices. A hint of faded elegance, but lots of regulars it appears, can even be romantic but the demographic seems to skew in favor of families and older couples. Decent service, and although you'd think it's French it's more European continental.

No!! Not worth it. Came here for Valentine's Day with a date based on a memory from years ago of this place being good. Between the lackluster service from the waitstaff and the completely ridiculous front desk staff, I left after being told that my uncooked salmon should be cooked at home. Wrote a letter to management and was invited back to enjoy the gift certificate that they provided to apologize for that horrific meal. Again , mediocre service, flavorless chicken, and requested well done steak served rare. I'm done!! The only redeemable quality this time was the dirty martini that tapered my sour mood!! Wasn't even worth the freebie!!! Thumbs down!!
