Convenient, clean, and affordable motel. Floorplans are dated but rooms carry modern amenities. Only gripe I could foresee from some people is that the showers are a bit small. Otherwise, great place to stay if you are just looking for a good location and a bed/bathroom while on vacation in the mountains.
Helpful staff and clean rooms with convenient access to the highway. Beds are typical of a motel but otherwise, I enjoy staying here when I travel to the mountains.
A pretty standard drive up motel. Clean, wifi, tv, mini fridge. Good rates, even for last minute reservations.
No refunds even if there is BEDBUGS. These were taken in the hotel. Not even going to mention the messed up room we got before requesting this disgusting one.
We loved this charming little roadside motel. I was a bit wary, because it was so inexpensive, but the room was clean, the view is gorgeous, the WiFi worked well, even down at the end, and the lady (I assume she's the owner) was lovely. My only complaint was the mattresses, but I have spine issues, so all hotel and motel mattresses give me issues. Overall, I would DEFINITELY stay here again.
This place is disgusting. Room was filthy. Owner claimed to know nothing about reservation. Good thing I brought a copy. But did NOT GET ROOM AT RESEVATION QOUTE. Will never do this again.
DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!! We booked a trip online, with reservations set to be paid on arrival. We were notified by email the night before our reservation that the stay needed to be prepaid, and had to be paid by 8pm. the day prior to being emailed. the motels owner was rude when we contacted them to find out why they had broken our agreement, and we were told that due to conditions HUNDREDS of miles from here, they decided to attempt to bill us 2 days before authorized, and when the payment wasnt in the account 2 days before it was supposed to be, they cancelled our reservation. The owner made it clear she had no intention of honoring the agreement that had been made.
Be leery of a motel that tells you it is downtown Waynesville and trys to keep your deposit when they are 8 miles from downtown Waynesville. They hang up the phone on you and then run your credit card right after you talk on the phone with them. Stay at the Oak Park Inn way better people.
Room was decent enough. Definitely a budget motel sort of thing but it did the job. If you just need the basics, this place will suffice. Though I didn't know toilet paper could be less than 1 ply but this place seems to have found it.
