The motel was in a good location (we went to Cataloochee Ski Area, so about 5-mile drive). There are few restaurants near the motel. The motel has Wi-Fi (free). The rooms were decent. The walls were thin and our neighbors weren't so quiet, but that's not the motel's fault for rude customers. Our room (king sized bed, non-smoking) had a microwave, mini fridge & TV.

Quant. Like the rockers on the front. Group can sit out front and socialize, talk and enjoy the mountain breeze. Rooms are good, price is good.

I think all places in Maggie Valley are overpriced. I stayed here because the coupon knocked almost $30 off the rack price. The nicest amenities were the rocking chairs out front and the pool. The bathroom had some recent remodeling. But the room was on the grungy side- carpeting and furniture. Definitely felt the need to shower in the morning.

The area is great except for the traffic, Maggie Valley has gotten real busy! Travelowes is old and I usually like that rustic feeling but I like to sleep also. The beds were hard as rocks and the pillows were softer than air. Does not make a good combination. The staff were nice but detached , I had to say gm first, not a big deal but I am paying you. The place is clean.
