Didn't get food until AN HOUR AND A HALF after we arrived with a reservation. Food was cold. Terrible.
I usually sit in the bar area and get great service. The last time I went I sat in the dining area and got terrible service. However, the food is great and the drinks are wonderful. The atmosphere is perfect for meeting up with friends for a nice but laid-back time.
The staff of this place is absolutely AMAZING. And the food is delicious. Highly recommended.
Good place for dinner.. good steak.. not so expensive
Favorite happy hour downtown. I love the Ceasar salad, east coast Oysters, and the salmon toast dish. Great stuff!
Very solid happy hour. Steak was decent, burger and cocktails were good.
Food is amazing! Service and ambience is also great! I definitely recomend the chicken, the mac and cheese and the ceviche.
The bass from the raw bar is probably the best thing I've ever put in my mouth. I'm not usually one to go after raw foods but I'm glad I did. There's no hint of raw fish. Only delicious and fresh ingredients.
Seriously the best thing I've ever had. Wish I could give more than 5 stars. Just know that it's expensive if you're looking for a full meal.
Wife and I had 2 dozen blue point oysters and drinks very good service very good food surprisingly @ 10 pm Saturday night was not that busy $$$
I had a couple of drinks at the bar on Monday, July 3rd. It was busy but not crowded. They have a great drink selection and the bar tenders were quick. I enjoyed my experience but it was nothing special.
This place has seriously gone downhill. The prices are utterly ridiculous. $27 for literally 3 scallops the size of quarters in a chef boyardee like tomato sauce. Friend ordered the NY Strip. Literally half of a steak with a pile of soggy mushrooms, 2 slices of an under-cooked fingerling potato and a soggy onion. Avoid at all costs.
Can't say enough about how good this place is. Only been here 3-4 times but tonight realized I need to come here more. The raw bar is fantastic, the marrow bones are just unbelievable and the NY strip was as good as you'll get in any of the good steakhouses in Austin. Wow! Fine dining in the middle of a not quite so fine street :-) makes it even more interesting. Lots of choices in Austin but I brought out of town business associates here and there were also very, very impressed. Excellent service from Erin too.
Edit: Actually, amazing service really.
Favorite happy hour spot downtown. A changing menu that always keeps us coming back featuring great cocktails, oysters and more. Did dinner once and it was spectacular. Highly recommend.
