We didn't eat there. But the ambience in the shop is fantastic. So many trendy hipster and family gifts and books.

Really solid spot for breakfast, brunch, lunch, or dinner. Variety of sandwich options. Soups are really good. Just really quality down to earth food. Great coffee bar as well. Service is counter order but they then bring to tables. Lines can get long around lunch. Staff do a great job. Aside from the food sells a number of items like kids got section making it a very unique space. Physical space is great too.

this is a great place to have a quick bite and do a little shopping at the same time. They have unique items that are not easily found at other places and make the perfect gifta to either yourself or others! Coffee bar is also great aand even if they are busy the line moves quickly and quality is never compromised.

Delicious! Went here for lunch and was very impressed. The tuna salad is very good. Also has a cute shop with recipe books, stationary and some unique foods. Highly recommend.

Great place for sandwiches and snacks. Kids love it. I like their turkey with spicy jam sandwich. It is a little pricey for a meal.

The place is an absolute delight. My smoked salmon bagel came in a generous portion, with freshest ingredients and amazing taste, and the coffee was top notch. Also, a great selection of merchandise! I will definitely come back and bring friends.

Parker and Otis has quickly become one of our favorite downtown Durham locations. It is one of the area's most versatile hotspots - come for an iced latte or a bite of dessert, or sit down at a table for a full-service lunch or dinner. The menu is robust and the service is exceptional - everyone seems to enjoy being there and so we always feel welcomed and appreciated. The food is great and the prices are extremely affordable - $7.50 or so gets you a large sandwich and a side. Try the Shrimp BLT - loaded with shrimp and perfectly toasted for just $8.50. Whether you're in a hurry and need your order To Go or want to sit out on the second-story patio and relax (or even bring your laptop and get some work done), Parker and Otis is the perfect place to do it all.

Friendly place to eat surrounded by lots of cool stuff to buy! It's always an experience eating here. The food is good, the coffee is hot (with a little coffee bar in the back) and the wait staff are friendly.

The curry chicken salad and blue cheese chicken salad give this place 5 stars. The coffee is wonderful - I got a cappuccino and I was really impressed! Friendly staff too. I really enjoyed my visit!

My wife and I love this place. We bring out of town guests here for the relaxed atmosphere. The food is easy going but done right. We ask for lightly toasted on toasted sandwiches as occasionally they get carried away with the toasting. Watch out for the birds they are waiting for you to turn your head and they are brave. Overall a wonderful place to eat and enjoy downtown Durham.

P&O has never let me down. Their food is amazing! Sandwiches are packed with flavor and the sides are worth having as a meal by themselves. The prices are great! Just remember to switch the regular side for their pesto pasta salad. I honestly couldn't even tell you what the regular side is it's been so long. No. 26 is my go-to sandwich. The mango chutney on it gives it this great sweetness to compliment the turkey and onions.
The shopping is great too. Next to Morgan Imports (right down the street), P&O is an amazing shop to find that perfect gift for someone, or to treat yourself. They have amazing art and local chocolates. There's food, wine, cookbooks, kitchen gear and baby toys. It's the best!
