This is an amazing and special place, with a plethora of history and character, topped off with terrific innkeepers.
My wife and I visited for a few days of peace and quiet, and received exactly that. The rooms are clean, comfortable, nicely furnished and unique. The second floor sweets, we've stayed in the Mingon and Winnie's suite, both had walkouts to small secluded porches for an evening of looking at the stars or a quiet chat. The bed was large and comfy, and additional seating arrangements and accompanying furniture well thought out. Bathrooms were spotless, and water pressure and hot water longevity was great.
The breakfast was amazing with a nice assortment of homemade plates with additional fare like yogurt, fruit and granola. Coffee, tea and orange juice aplenty. There is a water bubbler, along with ice maker and small refrigerator. Having breakfast on the back porch surrounded by the garden is certainly centering. Snacks are available during the day, and my personal favorite, fresh baked chocolate chip cookies when returning in the evening.
The innkeepers are super friendly, respectful of privacy, and will undoubtedly make you feel right at home.
While it may not be "downtown", the 10 minute or so walk is peaceful and full of things to look at and enjoy. Coupled with the bus service, getting around is simple if you prefer to leave your car parked.
Don't even hesitate to book, it's an amazing place. We're eager to return.
The Inn Keepers are friendly, the rooms are lovely, and the food is delicious. My husband and I always enjoy our stay there.
The Innkeeper Toni and her husband are very accommodating, helpful and friendly. We are within walking distance from the downtown area where there are lots of good choices for meals and shopping. The room we are staying in is called the Mignon suite. It has a king size bed, jacuzzi tub, small balcony, and fireplace. Toni makes breakfast for everyone and leaves snacks and things to make hot beverages out all day. We have definitely enjoyed our stay so far and would recommend this place.
1st time to Saugatuck & a B&B. Enjoyed our stay very much. Great room, very comfortable. Friendly owners & delicious breakfasts. Highly recommended.
Cozy old house feel with modern amenities. The owners are very friendly and cook up a very satisfying and plentiful breakfast. You are only a short walk to downtown and the beach.
A very unique place and very special hosts. Rick and Toni are thje best!!!
The service was excellent, and the history of the home makes it interesting. Toni made fresh cookies each night, and breakfast was great. Walking distance to downtown. Plenty of information available such as events and restaurant menus to make the best of your time. Would recommend.
Park House Inn has the most friendliest atmosphere and the owners are FANTASTIC! They have a LARGE tasteful breakfast selection!! Looking for a bed and breakfast this is a great place! I truly enjoyed my visit and I will be back!!!
My husband and I enjoyed our all-too-brief stay at the Park House. It offers a great combination of historic charm and up-to-date convenience and comforts. (Examples: good mattress and linens, excellent water pressure, fast WiFi.) We stayed in Maudie's Room, which is spacious enough that my husband could do a little work in front of the cozy corner fireplace while I attended a meeting. We were too tired to use the outdoor hot tub. We'll just have to go back for that.
