Enjoyed Sulphur springs loop trail. We hiked up along the stream and back down on the fire tower road. Our dog really enjoyed it.

Paris Mountain State Park - almost in the middle of town, anymore! This park has a LOT to offer folks: hiking, (mountain) biking, picnicking, camping, swimming (in season), gathering places, etc., and all within 20 minutes (or less) of anywhere in the Greenville metro area. The hiking varies from moderate to moderately strenuous with trails marked for dual use (hiking and biking) and "foot traffic only" - and you may bring your pets as long as they stay on a leash!

This park is pretty cool. The dams are nice looking and we enjoyed the easy hikes. The picnic area was nice, but we were bothered by bees.

This park is a gem right under your nose, if you live in Greenville or nearby. Beautiful, easy trails around the lake (so convenient with younger kids), picnic tables, a playground, volleyball net with a big open field next to it, and paddle boat rentals. I fell in love with the scenery and the energy here.

An amazing place to spend the day or an hour. Great range of trails. We've gone with and without out our toddlers and always have an awesome time. We love the Sulfer Springs trail.

Stayed here in July and loved it. Yes, it is crowded on the weekends but my site was on the outer side of the loop with killer view of the forest. Sites well kept with tent pads and hookups. Bathrooms were as expected for a campground. Hikers beware of mountain bikers they approach quickly and somewhat quietly.

We stayed with a large group the weekend of 6/24-25, 2017. The park itself in gorgeous with lots to do. The women's bath house near site 36 was disgustingly dirty. I should say the showers were. One shower, you had to stand in 6" deep water as the drain didn't workand there was so much mold in both shower stalls, it was crazy. I have never seen such a filthy shower in a state park bath house.

Hiking is great here! We hiked 6 miles Monday on the various trails and enjoyed it as much as we have for the past 30 years. There are a lot more mountain bikes now, but the riders were courteous.

Gorgeous place!! Just a hop skip and jump from downtown Greeneville and definitely worth a visit if you are in town. It's like a time warp back to the days when kids played outside and the whole family enjoyed their time being together.

I absolutely love coming here to hike on the trails at Paris Mountain State Park. $5 entry fee is not bad. My dog enjoys our time here as well. Picnic areas, parking, and bathrooms scattered throughout the park. Beautiful, natural space. Can't beat that.

We love this campground. We stayed here twice in the last month and will be back again. The tent sites are nice and you have plenty of space, the place is quiet at night and the proximity to downtown Greenville is great! We also biked the Swamp Rabbit Trail and enjoyed Travelers Rest.
