My go to lodging when in Spartanburg. Convenient location, helpful staff, cozy fireplace beside the well appointed for business traveler's and a bar/Starbucks inside make this my 1st choice when in town.

Clean and comfortable room. Could use a facelift on the furnishings. Staff was very friendly. Elevator was out of service at the time of our stay.

I stay at Marriott properties almost exclusively, and picked this one because it was free to me (with points). It was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. I asked for extra towels and had them quickly.
Those are the pros - the cons are it is really hard to find. The sign was blown out and we had to make a few tries before we found it, even with GPS directions on our phone. If you're trying to find it, it's almost behind the Waffle House, if that helps. Low water pressure in the shower. It was perfectly fine for us, but I wouldn't want to stay here for very long.response / report this review -

The first thing I like to point out and hopefully Marriott improves is the signage for this hotel. If you are driving out late at night it is easy to miss the hotel. The Marriott turn is a sharp right after the traffic circle. It definitely needs better improved signage and warnings so you do not miss it. The downstairs Lobby is welcoming. I believe there's much room for improvement for the cafe shop with quicker service and hours posted. The staff that I interacted with had been all friendly accommodating. There is a guest laundry that has one washer 1 dryer with soap available at the front desk. I did find a room small but clean. You are walking distance from a gas station and a grocery store. From what I have read this is one of the better options in the area for hotels. If I am in the area again I would stay at this hotel.

Clean, and room is a nice size with the double queen. Was not easy to find with the traffic circle. Would be nice to have a sign to indicate where to turn. I'd come back if I needed to. Other options aren't great.

A bit hard to get in as you have a small entrance off of a traffic circle and if you miss it you have to drive 8 mile loop to try to get access again. Older Courtyard but nicely kept. Friendly staff

Room was clean and hotel was fairly clean. I don't know if I'd stay there again just because the property is clearly older but it was not bad given the other alternatives close by. I've stayed at much worse places but I was not impressed by this place either. Stuff was definitely friendly though.

I was there for an interview and the hotel already had all the information on file. Check in was less than 30 seconds! Quick, easy and super professional!

A standard Courtyard by Marriott which are always up to par. I arrived early for check in and the staff was very accommodating making sure I got into a room.

Very nice lobby and room and nice employees. If you order from the restaurant you are in for a real treat! Budget at least 20 minutes to place your order then another hour to hour and a half for the food to be made. Remember to remind them what you ordered frequently otherwise they just start making random food no one ordered!

I stayed here 6 months ago. I enjoyed every aspect of my stay. Beautiful rooms, amazingly comfortable bed spreads and beds!! Staff was friendly abd extremely helpful. I'd recommend this place to anyone.
