This review is unfair. We lost power, fire was lumming, I took my family here. Have I seen 40 better Holiday Inn's? Yes. They didn't jack rates though. Very 2 star but better than other options. It was a good stay considering we had to be somewhere.

    Very disappointing.
WiFi quit working 2 days into our 4 night stay.
The pancake machine was "not working" until our last day.
Under services and amenities in the hotel binder, they offer a "private airport shuttle upon request"no. They don't, but they are going to look into why the binder says that.
    Tiny bathroom.
    Cramped room.
The phone in the room did not work. Had to use a cell phone to call the front desk.
    Very small and ill-placed pool.
The polite staff was the only reason I can give this hotel 2 stars instead of 1.

We were there in November 2017. I will report the good and bad. Hotel has good location, average distance (approx. 20 minutes) from downtown or other attractions. Breakfast was good. Staff are helpful. Beds were clean as I searched the sheets well. Towels were clean.
The bad stuff was that our room was small and tight and very musty. We could not open the window to change the musty smell and refresh the air because they locked the windows and the air-conditioner was emitting very moldy annoying smell, we had to turn it off in order to be able to sleep. Bathroom was very tight and small too.
Some sites say it is a 3 star hotel, other sites said it is 2.5 star. I would say it is a 2.5 star hotel only.

Overall we had a pretty good experience. The room was clean. We did ask for a room with 2 queen beds and were told that's what they gave us but when we got to the room they had given us a single king bed in a handicap room. We made do. The breakfast was good. I'm not sure I'd spend this much again for this room.

We had a nice stay. The room was always kept clean. The staff were very thoughtful and caring offering to help take our lounge to the room, so that I would not have to carry anything given I walk with a cane. They always had fresh water bottles for us to take with us to Sea World or the beach each day in order to help us stay hydrated.

The hotel itself would get 4 stars from me but the staff is so wonderful here that I put 5. The hotel is on the older side but everything is extremely clean. The breakfast was tasty and had a good variety but I do hope they add the following in the future: plant based milk for cereal (soy, almond, etc.) and Splenda and/or Stevia packets. The beds were comfortable but the sheets were not the highest thread count or something - they were a little scratchy. But everything was CLEAN and housekeeping did a wonderful job. I really enjoyed the shampoo and conditioner which were Bath and Body Works brand. There was a mini fridge and microwave in our room as well which was nice. Overall, really enjoyed staying here and every staff member I interacted with was just so friendly and helpful. Shout out to the lady that was doing check in on 9/17/17. We got there a little too early for check in and she was so hospitable during the wait, got us drinks and set up on the WiFi in the lobby without us even having to ask.

Rooms are smallish. Parking lot is also small. The hotel staff is nice. Breakfast is good. Healthy choices as well as classic favorites like eggs and sausage. Location is xonvenient to most tourist attractions.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the cheapest rates around

The location was fantastic! We were visiting UCSD and it was just a short drive away. Service was fast and friendly. Parking is pretty good too.

We tried to book a room here but it was full. I guess due to it being Easter weekend? Can't say anything bad about the place.

I booked a king bed, they gave me two Queens. I had to talk with the front desk for 15 minutes just to get the room that was promised to me when I booked it. Very noisy location. Bed was comfortable though!

Not a bad standard motel. Rooms are clean and everything is updated. Great selection of channels including HBO and Showtime. Super warm small pool, no hot tub.
