Midiocure at best
Nothing to say but do not believe anyone who says there is great parking
Small campus, but incredible experience here. I have been to SAC, Northwest Vista, Northeast Lakeview, and this campus. As far as campuses, this one comes in last for me. Possibly better than SAC just because it's in open space. Vending machines were normally empty here, but everything was always clean and easy enough to find. Great professors are here, and a great learning experience. I would recommend this campus to others. I enjoyed my time here, and definitely miss some of the times.
Wish I could give the advisors zero stars I truly can't belive these people were hired to help us prepare for college and our future. Every single person I have talk to over the phone rushes you and seems to be bored with helping. Lonestar College system is extremely better and really care about helping students and there education. Alamo "college" should really take notes or close it's doors.
It's a decent community college for the most part everyone is polite and nice, however the only complaint I have is there are not enough math tutors in the lab. I waited 3 hours so I could get help for four problems I didnt understand. That is ridiclious. they need more tutors so people aren't waiting for long periods at a time. Other than that its decent school with very little crime reports so I gave it 3 stars.
Palo Alto is a great school I love it they have the major i wanted
Completely unorganized and cant tell the head of their ass to the toenails on their feet. I attempted to do a 2+2 transfer plan, they gave me the run around and didnt help me in the least. ive been flagged for a month re-admission, and they cant seem to fix it. veterans affairs husky younger female employee was very rude and inappropriately dressed, claiming that army transcripts are only sent by mail, im sorry WRONG!!!! its ONLY digital!. the entire alamo transcript online system is down, so paper transcripts only work. even the fat dude that could barely breathe at the testing center forgot about me and let me sit there for 30 minutes before i demanded to get into the testing room. id rather get a degree from university of phoenix then to ever step foot onto this campus again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not without it faults, but I've enjoyed my time here. Some professors were rather undesirable, but there's a good share of great professors here too, especially those teaching Criminal Justice and its related subjects. The good definitely outweighs the bad, I think.
And I've seen a lot of people writing about certain systems being badly run, but it's been nothing but smooth sailing for me since I first applied. I am in the midst of a transfer, but I've had no trouble on PAC's end. The stress of it is caused by the university I'm transferring into, and I've had to stay PAC and will probably continue to do so until the university's administration comes to their senses.
