My husband and I were on our honeymoon and chose this hotel based on the location and reviews. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious. There is nothing about our stay we would complain about.

My stay at this adorable boutique hotel last week was absolutely wonderful. Talk about a room with a view! Not only could I hear the sounds of the ocean, I was literally just steps away from it! The staff and service offered let me know I was a welcomed guest. The hotel and my room were immaculately clean. Perfectly located and within walking distance to fine restaurants. My only negative comment would be that the costs for daily hotel parking are too high. If you want to treat yourself as I did to celebrate my birthday, a stay at the Pacific Terrace Hotel is the way to go! I will definitely be returning!

Welcome glass of wine. Complementary bikes for 2 hours. Fresh cookies, newspaper, souvenir photo upon arrival. The rooms are plush and awesome, the beds and pillows are very comfortable. The balconies are spacious with ocean views, the staff is very professional and courteous. Free parking if you can find it, otherwise $28 underground parking. Pool and jacuzzi located Beach Boardwalk. At night torches are lit, fire tables to sit at, and the pool light is on. It looks beautiful at night. We had a perfect sunset very pretty. I love this hotel.

This is our 4th time to stay here in 10 years. The service is always excellent and above and beyond. Location is great and within walking distance to many good restaurant choices. The rooms and pool area are beautifully situated overlooking the ocean. Gorgeous sunsets! Pacific Terrace is a wonderful place to call home while in San Diego.

The view of the ocean is incredible, and the staff was great. The pool and the hot tub were wonderful, too. The only reason I can't give a 5 star review is because the furniture and furnishings in the hotel are getting a little long in the tooth. Our room could've used a new carpet and a quieter air conditioner.

The hotel is in a great location in Pacific Beach, right on a bluff above the beach. There are 2 nearby sets of stairs that provide easy beach access. The hotel provides beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, bicycles, and other supplies as part of the mandatory resort fee that they charge. Our "family suite" room was nice and fairly large, but definitely not cheap! A breakfast buffet is available (for a fee) at the hotel every morning, and there are tons of restaurants within walking distance. The pool and jacuzzi, though relatively small by hotel standards, were clean and refreshing. The microwave and refrigerator were useful for preparing meals and snacks for our son, and the beds were comfortable. Finally, the staff were all friendly and helpful.

The view is breath taking. The staff was more than five stars, the breakfast is good and coffee is at the front desk and in the breakfast room for a number of hours. You can take the breakfast to the patio and sit and watch the waves. The staff works as a team and the staff smiles, acknowledges you and makes you feel at home. I loved the view from my room and the boogie boards and other items available when you stay at the Pacific Terrance Hotel. There are a lot of staff members who help each other and guests and what I liked most is they were all so willing to please. The hotel is happily situated close to wonderful restaurants and the pool is wonderful and stays open until 10:00. This hotel is very user friendly for children.

I stayed at the Pacific Terrace twiceonce for a few days and then again for almost two weeks in the summer of 2013. I have such a good time. Super comfy beds and very clean, towel origami! and good breakfast buffet! the staff were/are amazing. Loved being close to the beach and the nice pool and hot tub. It felt like home to me and I hope to go back in the near future.

This is the second time we come here. The location and views are amazing. It's so nice to come back after a long day to freshly baked cookies. The room has a keurig, perfect to make a cup of coffee and watch the sunset. I highly recommend and will be back again!!! Melissa M.

Great location on the beach.

The rooms are beautiful and the proximity to a lot of the restaurants and attractions on the beach is ideal.

They also had bikes to use when we were there. This was very helpful.

Looking forward to our next stay here.

My wife and I stayed here for a little getaway from the kids and absolutely loved it! Perfect location, the staff, the room and the service was fantastic. We stayed in an ocean view room and it was perfect! We have found our new spot!

The Grand is a palatial resort just north of San Diego. It is spread over a large property but the staff makes it feel very intimate. They have several dining options including a great Italian restaurant. The rooms are beautiful and mine had probably the best hotel bathroom I've ever seen. There is a Fazio golf course on property that is challenging and beautiful. Great place!

I always try to stay here when I come to San Diego. It just has that warm cozy feeling and they always go the extra mile. It can be expensive but if you keep checking you can sometimes get a deal. I love Pacific Beach too. Congrats on running such a great hotel.

We had a lovely visit! My husband and I stayed there for part of our honeymoon and enjoyed being so close to the ocean. We loved the fire pits and complimentary glass of wine! The room was good size and the breakfast was delicious! It was a little pricey but good food. There was construction going on in the room next to us, but they comped our breakfasts for the rest of the stay. I would come back again anytime I was in San Diego!
