This is the third or fourth time that I have stayed here. The proximity to Pacific Beach, a trader Joe's, multiple food places, and a great dive bar help but each time it's been hit or miss. This time I've experienced killing a cockroach in my room and having a room against the elevator which has made my sleep difficult. Normally I like this place but this time I am a little let down

It was nice, clean, safe. The view was lacking. The beds are soft. The breakfast was minimal. The room size was big. The parking is terrible, smallest parking under the hotel. Only ok if you have a small car, we have a sonata and it was really tight

Extremely nice place. Smells brand new and is very clean. Michelle at the front desk was very nice and welcoming after our long drive. Wet would definitely stay again

The room and hotel were clean and modern. The free breakfast was average. The staff were courteous and friendly. The only complaint was that the room and hall smelled like wet carpet, which the halls were.

Hotel is clean, welcoming and newly refurbished. Parking was easy, check in smooth and rook clean and comfortable. It's an older building but freshly refurbished and for the price a great choice for a simple stay in San Diego. The breakfast room was nice as well.

The pool is on the small side but definitely a decent hotel for a brief family stay.

Hotel staff was friendly. The room was great and clean. No issues at all. Only reason I give it 4 stars is because the eggs at the Continental breakfast were kinda gross. Literally the only reason. Otherwise it was great!

Great rooms for the price. Very clean, staff was great, breakfast was better than acceptable. Rooms were updated and beds were comfortable. 10/10, would come again.

Excellent customer service. The front desk staff was exceptional! The room was contemporary, hardwood floors, small refrigerator and microwave. Great location near the beach, Seaworld and other San Diego attractions. I will definitely will be back!!

Quaint well located hotel, friendly staff. Small car park. Lovely room, comfy bed but tje pillows were all hard. Not many vegan options at breakfast but they let me take my own milk & yogurt. More fruit would have been good.

a friend and I wanted an affordable hotel that also accepts dogs and near the ocean. We looked a lot online and chose this hotel. We are very pleased with our decision. We had no problem finding it. The staff were great, very friendly and helpful. When we needed something it was addressed immediately. Room was clean, nights were quiet and breakfast was very goodavailability included toast, muffins, bagels, cereals, scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, sausages , yogurt, etc. Person assigned to cover eating area was very friendly and helpful. The front desk person printed out directions to local dog beaches and we visited three. If you are going for dog beaches check out Ocean beach..great time. We also went to fiesta beach which is very nice especially if your dogs do not like waves. We went to Coronado beach which is beautiful but the walk in /out is lengthy and burning to your feet and dogs. Not fun at all. all beaches close to hotel. only other comment is room is adequate in size but could have been bigger but this is minor.

Parking spots in gargarage is too tight but plenty of street parking, walls are thin you can hear everything, door in bathroom is awkward it swings open towards bath and toilet, pet friendly but nothing for them, breakfast is provided but not replenished, curtains did not room darkening curtain. Coffee and tree available for free.

    Pet friendly is a plus.
    Free breakfast and wifi.
    Staff is quick and helpful.
    Nice clean facility.
A good place to crash for the nights, not a relax vacation option.

Staff was extremely rude. We stay in these hotels all over the country. This is first place that I was personally told (because my husband and I were watching tv, talking at a normal level) that we were "not allowed to be awake at 1:30am. We were not yelling, not causing a disturbance, however; because our neighbors with an adjoining door said our voices were bothering them, the night desk person was that rude. Then when I said we would take it up with the LQ Points Line or management, he threatened us! Unbelievable! The worst location in the country.

It's great if it's just a place to crash. I wouldn't want to use it as a base location. Rooms are clean. Pillows are uncomfortable. Bathroom is a little cramped. Location isn't great. But right next to in n out and McD.
