Of course, the beer is great, as is the beer everywhere in San Diego or you won't survive. However, the house wings are some of the best I've ever had! Anywhere. Huge wings and very flavorful. Try them, and if you agree, write a review. They must be the best in San Diego!

Great food. I ate here several times while I was in the area. The staff was great and was very fast, we had a large group one night and we were well taken care of . Great views and location. Highly recommended!!!

I used to love this place, but the food quality has plummeted. The atmosphere on the roof overlooking the beach is still great. The food leaves something to be desired. It's not horrible, but it used to be so much better.

I recently visited San Diego and stayed at an AirBnB close to this restaurant. I ordered the Kale Salad and my friends ordered the Fish and Chips and also the Fish Tacos. The service was speedy, the beer was good, and the food was delicious. We also sat upstairs on the patio, which had great views and was enjoyable on a nice sunny day. I would definitely come back!

Excellent food. I've tried nearly everything and it's all been absolutely delicious! Great sports pub atmosphere. I highly recommend it! Don't miss the kettle corn brownie dessert.

Went after a half day at the beach and was more than pleasantly surprised. Food was great! Shrimp ceviche appetizer, Burgers and a salad plus good beers and a decent beer menu on tap from other local brewers. Loved it!

This was my 65th birthdayThe experience was wonderful. . The food ""ALL YOU CAN EAT SHRIMP "" was great. .did not taste processedtasted like it was made fresh each time it came out. Oh and their tea is really good😀😀

We went here after the disappointing experience at Crushed. This place more than made up for our brunch disaster at Crushed. We sat up on the roof and had drinks. It was a delightful experience. This place has inside seating, outside seating, and also rooftop seating. The service was excellent and attentive. My girlfriend had the local favorite which came with a potato medley. She said it was excellent.

I will certainly be back here when down in Pacific Beach, again.

Been visiting the Ale House when in San Diego for years now. Great brew, fantastic food and wonderful service. Great place for walking right off the beach for happy hour. Often busy and sometimes pretty noisy, but a great choice for a snack and a drink. We'll be back.

Good beer, awesome food and if you sit up top, a great view. It's usually busy so be prepared to wait for a good spot, or sit downstairs for immediate seating.

Had dinner here again, we had DJ as a server and he was awesome! We had a small issue with a salad (our fault) and he took it back and got us what we needed. Everything was delicious and his service was awesome.

Thanks DJ! We will be back!!

The atmosphere is nice. I had the taco fish shrimp taco which is not Mexico authentic taste. The waitress are very friendly, will come again but will try something else. The in house beer is good.

Good for lunch or early night drinks. It gets busy at night and the bouncer treated me like garbage. They called last call 10 minutes before kicking everyone out. I ordered a drink and tried to down it in those 10 minutes, but the bouncer grabbed it from my hand and poured it out in front of me while hustling everyone out. I thought this was rude and uncalled for. Still, location is great and beer is OK. It gets a little"bro-y" at night, like most places in PB.

The food was really delicious. We have the meat and cheese board and jalapeno poppers. The beer pours were generous. The bathroom situation was odd - they had an attendant on a Sunday. I suppose it would make sense as the crowd increased as the night went on and the vibe upstairs turned more club-like. All-in-all a good experience.

Great location in the heart of PB. Cool inside bar with great decor and an awesome rooftop bar and patio with great views of the ocean only steps away. Menu is short, sweet, and to the point. The Bison burger is great as well as the Aztec and Beer Cheeseburger. Beers are brewed on site and the Law Lager is one of my favorites. The seasoning on the fries is excellent and so is the service. All the guys and gals are really friendly.
