I once read in a comedy book that the way to make your restaurant popular was to make it insanely small. Well this is the place. So small we were told we'd have to wait outside in the cold. We just left. I'd recommend to call ahead, or wait until summer since you'll be hanging out on the sidewalk for a while. The food reviews from others have been good; We were just put off by having to wait out in the cold. Had they offered coffee while we waited it would have gone a long way with us but they didn't. Maybe they have all the business they need.

My husband and I went to Over Easy while visiting Asheville last week. I had the pork belly bahn mi sandwich and it was amazing. Tons of flavor. tons of pork belly. My husband had an omelet which was also good. We also shared a half order of the lavender french toast (hey- it was vacation), and it was delicious, as well.

All of the servers were attentive. It was busy the entire time we were there, but each member of the staff regularly checked in to be sure that we didn't need anything and that our food and drinks were great. I highly recommend Over Easy, even if you have to wait outside for a bit before you can get a seat.

Awesome, cozy Cafe in the heart if downtown Asheville. Food is interesting and excellent. Not just eggs & bacon. Service is if you you are a regular patron. Be prepared for a little bit of a wait, but I assure you that you won't be disappointed.

Wait times were approximately 30 minutes. The hostess took our number down and sent us a text when our table was ready. The food was very good with Vegan and Vegetarian options. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Have never been to Asheville before. We saw this place had some good reviews, and they do not disappoint. The food is absolutely phenomenal and the service is amazing as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Wow!!! The food here is well worth the wait. Over an hour wait but the Cheerwine Brisket sandwich was amazing as well as the grits and the coffee. To top it off was the amazing smoked and super thick cut bacon. Oh man. Just awesomeness!! Even though the place was packed out our server still paid attention to us as well as the other servers in the restaurant. We will definitely be back.

Really amazing food. I got the seasonal veggie omelet and it was great. The prices were pretty good too. Great atmosphere. I will definitely go back soon!

Really cute, really tasty breakfast spot downtown. Not a lot of tables, but we got one of the first tables soon after they opened at 8. Loved my lavender french toast and the breakfast cocktails looked amazing tho I didn't try any. Hubs enjoyed his biscuits and gravy. Great spot for small parties, wouldn't bring my family of 5 here.

Make a reservation here as soon as you get to Asheville. This is the coolest and most hip coffee and brunch nook. The food is very good and there are a lot of vegan items on the menu. Buy a keepsake mug on your way out!

My wife and I visited the first day they opened after their renovation. Carson and the staff were welcoming. Everything was simply wonderful. Even the Croissant Egg Sandwich was packed with complex flavors, each bite succulent.
Will return during our next visit to Asheville.

Hope they open again soon; I am eager to see the renovations. I have enjoyed this place each time I have been. My only note would be the roasted potatoes; tried em twice and both times they were tough and overly chewy. Whomever is cooking the eggs, kudos to you my friend. You have certainly mastered the art of the soft scramble since they have been perfect both times. :-)
