I just love everyone @ Dr. Warwick’s office and I have entrusted him & staff w/ 3 of my babies (1 Yorkie in the past & 2 current Shih Tzu) and they haven’t been anything less than delightful to work with. I can call anytime to get my girls in to see him and I have a bad habit of calling trying to get them into the office the same day and they always find a way to accommodate.

It’s been over 10yrs now and I’m gonna continue to ROCK CHALK w/ them!!! 😘

I am thankful for the loving, expert care a wild bird I was raising recieved at this clinic. She needed stitches. The staff was knowlegable, calm, and welcoming. Dr. Warwick carefully and with amazing skill put stitches in that tiny fragile skin. I am grateful for a person who truly has a love for animals of all kinds and does not judge, but cares for all.

I have been using this vet clinic for about 9 years now and I feel the need to defend this business against what is likely a revenge review of one star. I hope that those who are looking for a good vet will consider that a disgruntled employee (and friends )who was probably let go is not going to be a fair consumer review. I have always been supremely satisfied with the care here and with the current employees including the Dr.

Olathe West Veterinary Care has provided support and services after I adopted a greyhound. Dr. Warwick was familiar with specifics of the breed and was concerned with how both the new member and our family was adapting. Dr Warwick has a "hometown" practice that cares for animals and their pet owners.

As a former employee, first I would never board my pet here. I have seen dogs that are complete strangers be boarded together. I have also seen dogs crated for 23+ hours due to inadequate housing. The business would also provide "playtime" for a fee only to for the animals to be neglected. I would also never have a pet get an operation done here. I have seen surgeries done on an office desk without proper sanitation. I have seen it operated in such a careless manner that a dog, that went in for a haircut, die from being over sedated. Bottom line, can you trust someone to care for your animals when they became a veterinarian because it was more lucrative than landscaping? Would you trust a veterinarian you has been brought up several times before an ethic review and has been placed under observation?

I have wanted to be a vet since I was seven years old, so a year ago when I became apart of the Olathe West Veterinary team I was thrilled! Since then working with Dr. Warwick has been one of the most helpful and exciting experience. Dr. Warwick is not only a compassionate man who treats his employs with the upmost care and respect, he is also a great teacher. He is constantly discussing medicine and what its made of and how its used or about specific aliments and injuries. It has been a great amount of knowledge that will absolutely help me in the future. The experience working here has been nothing but positive with a wonderful friendly staff and new learning experience everyday.

I just took my litter of puppies there today. This office is not clean at all, with one of the worst set ups I've ever seen. A cat that had just been neutered was running the office free and was bleeding all over the check in counter. Then the vet tried to charge me $215.00 to worm my 13 puppies. That is $16.54 per puppy when I can buy an entire bottle of the same dewormer for $40 and complete the worming twice. On top of that I had just completed worming my entire litter 3 days ahead of this visit and they tested negative for worms. This vet is extremely overpriced and desperately needs help. The staff was also very knowledgeable and never picked up a finger to help me get the puppies in or out of the vets office.

Dr Warwick has been our vet for over 10 years. He's cared for our elderly animals, until it was their time to say goodbye-Now he cares for our variety pets and all their needs. He's made an emergency house call for our old dog; and met us at his office in the middle of the night for an emergency with one of our cats. His staff is helpful and friendly. We've boarded our animals with them as well. I have nothing but good things to say about Dr Warwick and his staff.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE! This is an irresponsible office. I found a male Boston Terrier on Saturday 6/4 and brought him into this office to check for a chip. He did not have a chip but the office said they would keep him and make some phone calls to try and find the owners. As a dog lover, I was very nervous to leave this dog. I confirmed with them that he would not end up in a shelter or some place horrible. They reassured me that they would keep him safe and adopt him out if no one claimed him. I left them my phone number and asked them to keep me updated.

I called Monday to check up on him and was told he was turned over to Olathe Animal Control. Upon calling to check, they never received a Boston Terrier.

I called Wednesday to check again and to see what was going on. I was then told that they brought the dog back to where I said I found him and let him go! The receptionist said "dogs typically find their way home". I was absolutely appalled at this. This dog could have been 5 miles from home. He could have been hit by a car. He could have been picked up by some horrible person. etc. I asked to speak with the office manager and she was conveniently unavailable.

Called again today (Thursday) to speak with the office manager and was told she will be out for the rest of the week. I then asked to speak with the vet, Dr. Warwick and he confirmed what the receptionist said the previous day in its entirety. He said I should learn to trust my neighbors and trust that this dog ended up at home. TRUST MY NEIGHBORS. I cant even trust a vet to do the right thing.

Sorry for the long review. I just want everyone to know this is not a trust worthy place. What kind of vet would put a dog back on the street. Not a vet you should trust. My number was available and Olathe Animal Shelter is always available to take dogs in and they chose to just let him go.

I had my boyfriend took my dog to get his anal glands expressed and they charge me almost $50. Never told him until after they got my dog's anal glands expressed that it was going to be that much. They never mentioned a new patient fee until after they got it done!

Have used Dr. Warwick for 20 years and wouldn't go anywhere else. Can contact the doc day or night and he truly cares about animals. His staff is wonderful and knows our animals well. Personal level of care that you just don't find in the larger practices.
