  The reception staff is wholly underwhelming. The only charming thing about this place is the location.

  They need newer guests bikes .. the ones they have are ugly and rusty almost as if they found them.. pls get new bikes an lower the rates other then that great hotel and great landscape maintenance!!,

  fantastic location with a great staff and spotless rooms. We took a short walk down to the shops then right over to the beach. My first time staying here and it won't be my last!

  Discrete, comfortable and friendly. Rooms are spacious and immaculately clean. Excellent steak in the restaurant presented by the chef himself. Highly recommended.

  The Oceana is a very nice expensive hotel in Santa Monica. It's great for families who can play at the pool. Also well located near the beach and the pier and promenade.

  Great location on Santa Monica beach, walkable in both directions to Montana St and the pier. Very spacious, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Had a wonderful morning swim with our baby and then breakfast by the pool. Restaurant staff were brilliant.

  Staff was very friendly, they always offered to help, anything they could do. But, then they did not follow through. This happened consistently throughout our stay. Like, I will bring (whatever) right up. Then they wouldn't show.

  We loved our suite- it felt like and apartment. so much better than the traditional hotel! They did an excellent job with the doctor both in the room and outside. The pool area was a great view and the temperature of the pool water was perfect.
