Guy that answered the phone was quick and rude. Asked for a Yurt or cabin of some sort for two families. As soon as I said we have dogs (and before I could ask if ok to bring them) he said "oh no that's unacceptable, unacceptable, Ok have a nice day"CLICK. He hung up on me!! What the hell?? Now reading the reviews I can imagine all the other things happening exactly like they said.

My husband and I stayed at this location. The management was very friendly, the location was a perfect place to relax and unwind after a long day. We stayed in the Tiny House I cant wait to go back to the Carolina's to stay again. The price was perfect.

We stayed here a couple weeks ago and found it OK. They promote how quiet it is and it is, a nice change from the giant RV parks. Most of the people staying appeared to be long-term contractors. Our 5th wheel fit fine, no issues hooking up. Nothing fancy.
I considered not posting this but I have a conscience. Please don't bring children here. 1 star for the maintenance man who told us he was a felon (armed robbery) and a registered sex offender (indecent liberty w/ minor). True or not, WHY WOULD YOU TELL PEOPLE THIS?!?! Needless to say, we left shortly thereafter and won't be back. We wish them the best of luck. God Bless!

Quiet campground, very pet friendly. Trails are good for walking, especially little dogs. Very protected with pine trees all around the park. Small park, but very friendly.

Google Maps has location a bit wrong - Continue down Palmer Rd another 1/2 mile and you'll see the signage. I liked how quiet this place was. Camp Hosts are very nice and no-nonsense. If you expect pampering, go someplace else. I will return if passing through the area.
