Had affordable hand grips for my bicycle but some staff were very unhelpful and kinda rude when i was trying to put the grips on so needless to say I rode off with no grips on bicycle. Did I not spend enough $$ on my visit is that why?

Good prices. Worth a stop to see what they have as the inventory is rather large. Could use more women's downhill mountain bike gear but they had a lot of trail and road gear.

Continue to do business with this store and these folks because they stand behind what they sell.

Bontragger has a zipper problem with their under-seat bike bags that we've discovered is not isolated, but pervasive, and causes the zipper to cant and eventually break away.

After going through two of these units in one season, the shop offered to send it back so the the mfgr. could correct the problem, and exchanged a different unit that works great!

A group of 3 of us went in the other day to rent skis and snowboards. Austin and Heather helped out our very novice (and clueless) group. They were very patient and knowledgeable and they made the experience very easy for us! I'd highly recommend renting here

The prices at this store are for the most part no savings. Staff was good but if you are going to look for a good "Outlet" price you will not find it at this store.

I love this place! They have amazing service! I took my boots here to have them re-string my boa laces. They said they may be able to get them done in 2 days. This seemed reasonable considering how busy they were.

Two hours after I left I got a call from Marcus letting me know my boots were fixed and ready to be picked up!

Since moving to the county, Mountain Sports Outlet has always been my first stop when looking for new gear. When family and friends come to visit and need gear I always tell them to go to Mountain Sports Outlet first. I'm afraid that after todays experience this will no longer be the case. I purchased a pair of $140 Swaney X-Cell II gloves during the ski rex sale two weeks ago. I decided i would prefer the X-Cell II mitten which is priced the same and is simply the mitten version of the same style. I went to the store hoping that this would be a simple exchange for an equal value version of the same style. I was wrong. The manager told me that i would have to pay back the $24 discount i received in order to get the mitten version. I would have understood if the original packaging had been removed or i was trying to exchange for a different style glove, but the packaging was untouched, and the styles are the same. Allowing the exchange would have meant 1 more pair of gloves of this style and 1 less pair of mittens of this style on their shelf with their balance sheet unaffected. I plan on being in the county for a very long time and had until this point been a loyal customer. I'm very disappointed that the manager decided it was worth more to the store to deter me from 'taking advantage' of the sale and gaining $24 than to keep a loyal client with the potential for thousands of dollars in sales over a life timeSad
