A great outdoor environment. Offers a public stage, the Duke Energy Pavilion. Theybhust fixed a mud hole at the base of the stage and during peak months the grass its kept elegantly cut.

The Depot Park - when being used for appropriate events can unfold into pleasant experience however I find that it is often utilized as a private meeting place for bar bands to expose themselves often lingering for hours after the general public has gone. Late Sunday mornings you can find private unorganized functions with loud rock bands blasting their bass and their vocals beginning as early as 10:00 a.m. if that's your cup of tea. The park and its allowed use has become more of a nuisance in recent time as far as I am concerned. Being forced to listen to loud music without a volume cap on any given day and for extensive hours can become disturbing to even the most tolerable. Living in close proximity to the Depot Park reveals its lack of respect and/or regard for downtown Sanford residents.
