Great home cooking and a really nice and welcoming staff. This is like a VERY good Cracker Barrel type place in the middle of the city. Would highly rec for comfort food and I bet their breakfast is incredible!
so, my husband, daughter and I, decided to try this dinner. we walked in and the take out food looks good. I picked up a little portion of food for my 2 years old and my husband and i picked up a plate also. when we got to the cashier, our food was weigh and then the cashier said to us, that everything was $98. yeah, you read right, $98 dollars just for little portions of food for 3 people. We should of went somewhere else to eat. golden corral don't even charge that much for take out from their buffet. ok cafe never seeing us again. the food was not that great at all. oh and we didn't even get drinks and desserts. the worst soul food ever. don't go there if you want to save money and eat cheap if you have children. just go to stake and shake or chick fil a or other affordable places, but not here.
Best restaurant to make you feel right at home (for every meal)! One of our favorite places to bring visitors to and everyone always loves it! Great service, great atmosphere, and incredible southern food (& desserts)! Definitely would recommend!
Had been wondering about this place for a while and finally gave it a try. Absolutely loved our experience at the OK Cafe. Food was terrific and felt homemade. Fast and friendly service. Rustic diner atmosphere feels very homey.
I was back for an appointment visit at OK Cafe
that I try to make whenever I'm in Atlanta, and was disappointed. The staff was still great. The food, turkey & dressing, squash casserole and even the cornbread was mediocre at best. It seemed like the recipes had changed since just 3 months ago when I rated my experience at 5. OK cafe, please go back to the same consistency of deliciousness youve had for years!
Very good. Had the chicken salad sandwich with fries. Fresh hot fries and the sandwich had toasted bread without warming the chicken salad. Nice flavor without being salty. Comes with the all important pickle. Service was attentive. Busy at lunch on a Saturday but was seated quickly
We eat at OK Cafe several times a month. We take visitors from all across America and the world. There never has been anything other than splendid food, unmatched service, and an amazingly well managed and well led kitchen. Loyal employees. Convenient parking most times. Often a short to medium wait, but it always is worth the wait.
We are from out of town and were looking for something good to eat and the OK Cafe had really good reviews .We agree with the great reviews .The service and cool throw back atmosphere were AWESOME! The country fried steak, black eyed peas, Mac n cheese, collared greens, corn muffins, fried pickle chips and fried green tomatoes were all DELICIOUS😊 We weren't crazy about the turkey and dressing but that's just our personal opinion. Over all GREAT experience We will be back and definitely recommend to others going that way😊!
Love OK Cafe. Being enjoying their food for years. I have gotten the grilled chicken sandwich, the pot pie, the turkey w/dressing, and my favorite the dry rub pork chop. I have gone to the take out counter and gotten a great meal. I have been here in the morning, late at night and at 3:00 am (when they were open 24 hrs a day) always had friendly service and always good food
The Best Tourist trap in the ATL
SERVICE WAS GREAT !!!! ALL of the staff were fantastic.
The foodwell a 75 cent piece of tillapia on a 50 cent bun with 40 cents worth of french fries and 20 cents worth of garnish$14.99.
It's worth doing once in a while, but just know, the food cost is like 10% of what you are paying. The rest is service and ambiance.
Overall, I would go again just cause of the unbelievable Service.
The hamburger was cold and raw send it back and waited so long just left without it. it was busy because it was lunch crowd. Coleslaw is good and so is the grilled cheese sandwich. It's our first bad experience there. Everyone but our waitress was prompt
This place rocks! We had our "reunion" date here 6 years ago when I moved to Atlanta and they treated us like royalty. When we heard about the fire we were devastated, but we stopped in again last month and the place is back, babybetter than ever!!
The staff is warm and so friendly, love the retro uniforms! The food is to die for, good Southern cooking and hearty portions. Be sure to save room for dessert!!
What a wonderful experience. My sister and I stopped in today, tired and hungry after a day of moving. We were blessed with a wonderful server named Kristen who helped us get the best vegetarian items on the menu. The food was delicious!
This Cafe is just OK. No really it was amazing. Little bit of a wait, but service was friendly & great. Food was.. well I can't explain in words how good it was!!! I love this restraint they have a Togo side and a sit down side. Very trendy ❤️👍🏼⭐️⭐️👍🏼⭐️⭐️
