Always busy so be prepared to wait. Great food, and great staff and owner. All local and brings a good ob vibe.
We had Ob house fried rice and to treat the both of us for lunch and all we can say.
Is absolutely delicious.
The price was reasonable with enough to eat and share for two.
My favorite place to eat in PB! When I go in they treat me like family, every time! Least expensive and best food I have been fortunate to have the pleasure of eating. I love that this place stays open late on the weekends, too! A huge plus that this place is open after the bars close!
Fantastic neighborhood restaurant. Best Pho soup I've ever had. Great bar tender with a bunch of craft beers new exactly what I wanted. We'll be back.
SIMPLY AMAZING for anyone who likes Sake or noodle bowls you're in for a treat!
I am a fan of Sake and have never seen such an expansive menu of offerings all delicious and priced great!
Im not a fan of noodle bowls, unless they are from here apparently. So I wasn't expecting anything thinking I wouldn't like my dish since I don't like noodles but my plate was delicious. I ate the whole thing and I never am able to finish my plate, it was that good. I have been here a couple times since my first visit and always am impressed :)
Expect to wait in a line because lets face it everyone knows how awesome this place is but you can go to the cheap dive bar next-door while you wait.
First timers and it was quite a pleasant experience. Hostess was awesome and despite being about 10 minutes late, she seated us right away. Cliff was our waiter and very attentive. Food was on the table quickly. Not quiet dining, but everyone friendly.
I live in PHX and am fortunate enough to have a home in San Diego for some summertime fun. Sometimes I will literally drive the 5 hours out just to go to noodle house as many times as I can in a weekend. Best pho I've ever had by far, summer shrimp and fried dumplings are out of this world. Great atmosphere. Tons of beer on tap, all great in their own way. Hands down my favorite spot in OB, or whenever I'm this far west for that matter.
I came here the first time and had their pho and was not impressed and parking is not easy to find. I came here a second time and got their pan fried noodles which were good and surprisingly, despite the restaurant name The two most delicious things i ate here and come back for are the wings and fried fish! I've since come here multiple times and have recommended this place to several friends and told them ordering the wings and fish are a must! It's always been fun to eat here with high energy vibes. I love that the restaurant has a long open patio to let the air really flow in.
Pretty good food here, I get the fried rice when I come here but be warned that there is usually a line going out the door here at all times !! So come early before you actually GET hungry to avoid being irritated by the line or leaving for quicker service. This is a popular place on Newport Ave. Small restaurant. If you're not into the wait (since most people aren't) check out some of the other restaurants in the area that are just as good as this one.
Best 'Seafood Salad' ever, anywhere. Mind blown! Totally unexpected.. sorry took pics only after tasting it.
BTW - Brides and groom's.. contrary to the critic recommendations as a hangover recovery stop.. this is actually your very 1st stop as you get your party started.. these folks will get your whole crew fired up, and then you're on your way.
Went there for dinner last night with 3 friends. Food was ok but service was horrible. Hostess stated that wait would be :45 min so left our number as requested and took a short walk since we are from LA and it had been a long drive. The front of establishment was crowded with people continuing to arrive when we left. Returned 35 min later and only a couple was still waiting to be seated but it took them an additional 40 min to seat us.when finally seated we were squeezed onto a table with 4 others and two big dogs which made us have to squeeze the dogs together for leg room. So sad for doggies. Oh ya! We were offered to order appetizers and drinks to be consumed while standing and waiting which they considered as providing good service for obviously making us wait much longer than quoted. Food was Not worth the long wait.😒
Over 30 beers on tap and the food is delicious. Korean short ribs, wings and fried rice are amazing. The staff is super friendly and the atmosphere is very lively. I strongly recommend this place
I love this place! There are 2 locations but the one on cable seems to have slightly better food and the bartender always makes for an amazing experience she is always welcoming and knows our order as soon as we sit down! The wings are amazing and a must have anytime you come in here yes they are spicy but the flavor far out ways the heat making it a pleasant bite. The house fried rice is a must try with the homemade sweet sausage its amazing!! The pho is so good and always has a delicious broth, the short ribs yum, the sizzling fish is buttery and savory! I have never ordered something I didn't love!!
