Good breakfast spot - but definitely not a good dinner spot.
When my soup arrived it was barely warm. The main course looked like everything came out of a freezer box or a can. The Chicken Cordon Bleu was barely edible - over cooked so much the outer pastry was impossible to eat and the chicken was tough - almost impossible to cut into with a steak knife. Just the ham and chicken in the very center were edible. The sauce was just a glob of yuck. The mixed vegetables clearly came from a can - no one cuts potatoes into a square except for Del Monte!! As for the corn bread - you can find better at Major Market in Escondido.response / report this review -

Super sweet people! They gave me a lunch option when it was still breakfast. I said I liked their pickles and gave me extra AND some to take home. They use GREAT ingredients. They also don't skimp on anything. Good quality, tasty food. Always being courteous and kind :) 6 stars.

The majority of the time I've gone here is Sundays early afternoons. Stopped going because the employees clean with a very strong smelling Pine Sol & several of is had trouble breathing. We mentioned it but no one seemed to get it. I think they are used to serving breakfast & then start cleaning up when we arrive.

We had the Chicken Cordon Bleu with corn, cornbread, and mashed potatoes. The corn and masked potatoes were pretty typical for me, but the breeding and sauce on the chicken was amazing.
The staff is wonderful and very helpful in selecting a menu item. And we couldn't help but try the Caramel Pecan Cinnamon Roll and the Cinnamon Roll with Pecans. Each was ordered with a side of cinnamon ice cream and nothing beats the combination of warm, soft cinnamon rolls with a bit of ice cream in each bit.

It's a great old standby in Ramona, and my memories are filled with good times here. The food was not as good as I remember it being I'm going to have to give them one more go just to see if this last time was an anomaly or the new norm.

Very prompt and good service. I had the shrimp and crab quesadilla, and it was pretty good, except some of the cheese tasted like American "cheese" slices. Took one of their giant cinnamon rolls to go, and 3 people could share that!

Love the food here. The burgers are fricken huge. Flamethrower with half an avacado was delicious and also had the breakfast here that was great too. Check out the picture of the burger!!

Our new favorite place when we come to visit! The food is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are fair. The seafood omelette is great!
