Dined in the new atrium that has draft beer unlike the main restaurant. We both ordered steak and lobster. Fantastic food and service. A+.
Derek Ertz is the sous chef and he is amazing. The food was delicious. My steak was cooked to perfection just as I ordered it. The sides paired so well with the dish. I will most assuredly be coming back for more again and again.
It's very apparent, at least to me, that each individual's experience is going to vary depending on the chef cooking the food. I've been here multiple times. The first time, I couldn't have asked for a better beef wellington. To this day, I cite it as being the most delicious meal I've ever had. And yet, upon returning and ordering the same food, I got the complete opposite mediocre at best. My peers/colleagues have also gone here multiple times with the same experiences - sometimes amazing, sometimes lackluster.
Sadly, for the cost, I'd say risking your money isn't worth it.
Service was great, atmosphere good, but when you order a $60+ fillet, it should be incredible honestly had better at Texas Roadhouse sorry to say. Won't go back
We dined for my birthday. Out of all of the places we could have chosen, we chose this establishment. Firstly, in a sparsely populated room, we were sat by the kitchen and heard the staff having a party in the kitchen. Secondly, No pomp or circumstance at all for my birthday - no dessert, No smile, No nothing. For $210 for dinner, we expected much more. Once and done for this place. The hostess did not even blink more than twice she she asked, "how was it?" And I promptly replied,"fair to good" (the food was quite good).
We had great food and service. April, Gerardo and the staff was terrific. They surpassed our expectations.
Great place for good food never to crowded
The prices were outrageous. Pictures below is an $8 salad and the bone of a $10 lamb chop. Yes, your eyes are correct. That is a wedge of lettuce, and some cheese on top. Salad was untouched by the customer. The food I had was good, but the prices and the wait was unnecessary. I've been to trendier, cooler and fancier places in NYC, Minneapolis and Chicago and The Novi Chophouse was NOT on par for THESE prices. But thats just my opinion.
Quality was below what you would expect from a high end restaurant. Coach insignia was much better, sadly it has since closed.
They were under renovation so the restrooms were outside in an portable industrial restroom which didnt smell like a portable potty but only had 2 temperatures scalding hot or freezing cold The restaurant inside had great food but was closed for half of the class i was attending
Higher end food that was very good but just a little pricey. We had a hard time finding it, as we didn't realize it was in the hotel. All enjoyed their dinners, service trailed off during meal & we had to go find someone to ask for our checks, but otherwise was good.
Great happy hour specials, but we were treated like dirt from the staff. Very poor service. Empty bar when we arrived and it still took forever to get the waiter to take our order. We would have ordered a ton more but no one ever came back :( We took our friend there for a birthday and it was embarrassing.
Best lobster I have ever eaten. Steaks are amazing too. Everything is cooked the way you want it and service is top notch!
This used to be my family's favorite fine dining restaurant, used to have superb steaks and food in general. Once management and chefs kept switching the food and quality have been poor. I hope one day they can restore their service and food back to it's former glory.
Simply Amazing!
Great service great attitude superior food and drink. This place has done this year after year better than any place around I could not give them a better review. Bravo!
