Great food and very nice people. The waitress did not bring our hot sauce but a quick trip to the woodshed and a soft spanking helped make certain that you will not have the same issue. Great placewe'll be back.
I've been to the Blue Tractor a bunch of times. It is kinda hit and miss. The food is inconsistent. Some nights the pork is just better than others. The fries are always good. I enjoy the atmosphere very much. Dark and comfortable. This place is never too loud or crowded.
Pork is okay. Chipotle sauce excellent. Cole slaw acceptable but not outstanding. Good mac and cheese. Only BBQ I've ever eaten at that doesn't offer baked beans!!!! Service so so and she just blew off the bean question. A little pricey. I'll try another BBQ next time.
We were told this would be a good place we could take our children with us to eat. I sorta disagree. It was more a bar setting with a restaurant built around it. It could have been the time and day we went there, so it could have possibly been better. Also I feel like the setting was more for older children rather than younger children. The staff was alright, friendly was about the extent of it. Food came out quick but I felt like it lacked flavor - mainly the sides. The sides were all tasteless - coleslaw, sweet potatoes, fries. The main portion of the meal were okay but I felt like it could have been better. Overall, the only thing I really liked was the decor. Would not come back again.
Ate dinner here tonight and was very excited to try their food. Ordered the Pork Belly BLT. Sweet potatoes fries. Fries were good but the sandwich was dreadful. There were maybe 3 little shreds of lettuce and one tomatoes so tiny and mushy, it didn't even cover one quarter of the bread slice. There was enough pork belly that it was hanging out the sides of the sandwich. I expected some fat (it's pork belly, after all) but it was so fatty I gagged. And there was no "LT". Gave me a tummy ache it was so fat. Total and utter disappointment. Wait staff was very kind and attentive, on the good side. Won't bother to go there again.
I'm giving this place 1 star because we had a nice server. However, we waited over a half an hour for our food. My husband got the ribs and pulled pork. Both were very dry. After we were done my husband noticed mold on his beer. All the manager did was pay for the beer. This was our first night out after becoming parents. I'm highly disgusted and upset about how they responded to the mold. I don't recommend this place to anyone
They're known for their varieties of mac and cheese, and i'm here to tell you, it doesn't disappoint. You really can't go wrong here. Great burgers, their pulled pork is amazing and the prices are good. The atmosphere is very unique and fun to experience.
So good! I got the grilled chicken Caesar salad. It was fabulous! My husband got the hay baler burger and he loved it! The service was great, even though they were busy, we never got overlooked. Will definitely be recommending to our friends
Just stopped for a quick drink & snack. Had Cherry Cider & fried sour pickles with dip. Both were good tasting & fair priced. Service was good. I loved the atmosphere, slightly rustic, but what I really liked was the bar which was more like the bar on the TV series Cheers than the actual Cheers bar in Boston. Also $1.00 of my drink went towards a local charity.
I ordered brisket, Brussels sprouts(originally given asparagus by mistake so purchased and additional side of the sprouts) and mac and cheese. Brisket was terrible dry and chewy, the worst I had ever had. The Brussels sprouts tasted like lighter fluid. The mac and cheese had absolutely no flavor. I was very disappointed with all of the main course. We had pickle chips for an app- they were good. Mixed drinks took forever to come. Chocolate cheesecake dessert was just okay. My boyfriend ordered the four meat plate and said the chicken was good as well as the ribs but the brisket and pulled pork we disappointing. Overall nothing was seasoned and everything very bland. I would not recommend wasting your money on this place. There are plenty of delicious places to eat in the area.
A positive note the atmosphere was pretty cool.
Great resturant! The brisket was delicious! They have the best french fries! Seasoned and crispy. Be sure to try these! The wait staff was super knowledgeable about the beers. Parking can be tricky unless you know about the parking ramp behind the resturant. Have some change ready for parking meters. The meters are all over the town and even in the ramp. Don't let the parking meters put you off the food is worth it!
First time eating here. I was super excited I've been wanting to eat here for awhile now! Called in my order and picked it up everything seemed good. Got home and it was all of a sudden not so good. The sauces for the wings were expired, the wings were the worst wings I've had. I paid $5 something for mac and cheese and got maybe four fork full worth of it. Plus when I picked it up 90% of the employees were standing in a circle talking, it took maybe 10 minutes for someone to even come up to me so I could pick up my order (after calling it in 20 minutes prior). I give it a 0/10 and DO NOT recommend it to anyone!
I went with my mom around 6 on a Saturday. We didn't have to wait for a table, but it was crowded. Nice, quick server, corrected the bill when we were accidentally charged 2.50 for a glass of water. Food was amazing! My mom got a couple sliders and sweet potato fries, I got the pulled pork. It was really good and I can't wait to go back! This was our first time there.
I've eaten here twice. It is comfortably upscale from most barbecue houses, with a menu centered around fried and grilled meats and a few salads. Somehow, they keep the place squeaky clean and completely free of the grease film typical of so many barbecue houses. They have an excellent range of draft and bottle beer and a decent wine selection. The food is well prepared, although somewhat heavily salted for my palate. The whitefish and chips was very good and an excellent value. Although the batter was quite salty, the fish was perfectly cooked and I received three very thick and meaty chunks of fish. The fries were very good. The mushroom soup was tasty, but fairly ordinary, the coleslaw was good but a little over-salted, and the roast beef sandwich was okay but unremarkable. The burgers looked good and I will try one next time. Service was good, but it wasn't busy. The lighting at the tables is harsh (in the bar area), just bare bulbs under a galvanized "hat". Some type of softening shade would be helpful. Pricing is moderate for the area. It won't be on my "regular rotation" but I will go back when I'm in the mood for a good, filling, meat-centric barbecue style meal at a reasonable price.
