It was closed and so were the bathrooms. The Google told us it would be closed and so did the NPS website, so no surprise there. But we did find a port-a-potty out front!

Staff was so helpful. I asked about a trail and got lots of helpful info. I returned at the end of the day and they were just as kind and cheery. Hiking near this visitor center is relatively easy. Cascade River Pass trail is challenging but great.

Really nice staff and very knowledgeable. The visitor center building is also very nice, especially considering this park is mostly either backcountry or just drive through.
