Camped up here early spring 1975. Met the Vic Bradley family, a fine WWII vet who was a friend! Beautiful country, tho sleeping in a tent in the snow is something I no longer do. Road was plowed to the Diablo dam, that was the end of the road!

This is a nice rest area with a small market for fruits & snack. The facility has a history of the dam & its turbines which you can tour just up the street. I'll have to post some photos later.
