The Nifty Nut House is a gem in downtown Wichita, if you like nuts, candy, and bulk foods. Their roasted nuts are excellent, and the staff is attentive and helpful. Allow for plenty of time, especially if you go during the holidays. Sample a couple different kinds, and take home your favorites! This is the kind of store you don't rush through.

This is a hidden gem in Wichita for sure! If you enjoy anything sweet, this is your place. From being overwhelmed by the huge selection of gummies to anything chocolate covered to vintage hard candies, The Nifty Nut House is a mouth watering experience indeed. Plan on spending a minimum of 45 minutes as there is entirely too much to see. Arrive early as this place literally gets ‘nutty’ later with so many shoppers it becomes a Disneyland of sorts for those who want to feel like a kid again in a fun environment. Family & kid friendly, great staff members ready to help you at the drop of a hat.

We love the Nifty Nut House! There are so many options to choose from, it takes some time to get through it all. If you have a tree nut or peanut allergy, don't go in. This place is always packed because it's so awesome! We love the double roasted cashews, salted pecans, very berry nifty mix (it's the best!!), triple dipped malted milk balls, dark chocolate amaretto pecans, the list just goes on and on! It's an awesome place to get candies and nuts!

I have shopped there for years. I have travelled quite a bit and never seen a larger selection of bulk nut and candy flavors. Nuts are available raw or roasted, salted or not, mixed or by type. Milk and dark chocolate coated of some varieties are also available. The candies are a huge selection, from jelly belly, to seasonal (if you shop early)to items your grandparents used to buy. Service is really quick. Imagine 1/3 city block of nothing but candy and nuts. I'll be back.

This place is nuts, but more than nuts, it's candy heaven. I love this place and go there every time I'm in town. The dark chocolate sea salt caramels are a mandatory purchase but PLEASE PLEASE leave some for me!

Nifty Nut House is a very awesome place everything that you get is fresh! Nuts, candy of all sorts. Very good place to do your Thanksgiving and Christmas shopping for good treats. Or even Christmas gifts. But the best part is there very reasonably.

Awesome place for bulk nuts and candies. We come by about once a month. I don't believe there is anywhere else in town you can find selections like these. It's definitely a hot spot during the holidays and worth a visit.

Probably the best in Wichita for bulk nuts, fresh fudge, candies, and a whole lot more. There's really nothing to complain about! You could spend an hour in here and still not be finished picking through their goods and discovering the good stuff. The staff are warm and very helpful! I certainly agree with Alton Brown, this place truly is a national treasure!

This is the best store in wichita. If you are visiting you MUST come here. If you live in wichita and you've never been here, you MUST go here. If you're diabetic they have really good sugar free candy best place for gifts for little kids who have everything.

A Wichita treasure and local landmark. Nifty will not disappoint from young to old. You can stay for hours sample anything in the store from exotic candies nuts salty treats and so much more. It is no secret why famous names like Alton Brown chose to make this one of his few pitstops while visiting our city.

I went to the Nifty Nut House during the holiday season. This is by far the busiest time to visit this business. However, it is always well worth it. If you have any candy needs, the Nifty Nut House is the place to go. I highly recommend going here to get specialty colored items like m&m's or jelly beans in graduation or wedding colors. They also have a wide selection of nuts, chocolates, and vintage candies. Employees are helpful and considerate, even during the busy holiday season. Another thing I think is great is their pre-wrapped mixed nut set. They make excellent gifts for friends and family. I'm not certain if they have this item available all year or just during the holidays. I bought a mixture of dark, milk, and white chocolate covered espresso beans for my husband and he (and I) absolutely loved them! If you can survive visiting the Nifty Nut House during the holidays, the rest of the year should be a breeze! Prices are a little on the steep side, but I think pretty standard for a nut and candy shop. A must-visit Wichita staple!

I love this place! Great products! Great customer service! They have the best selection of nuts & candies. Good prices & great quality. I make several trips a year & stock up my household snacks. The prepackaged & wrapped boxes for Christmas makes the best gifts.
