Oh, my. I had the best meal of my life. The waiter recommended the caeser salad, and it was amazing. I literally will never be able to eat another salad again until I come back. The prime rib was delicious. It was truly a spectacular cut of meat. I have the chocolate soufflé for dessert. . . It was alright. This is by far the best steakhouse in Dallas. Five stars.
As to be expected, this was a very pleasant meal. The service was fair for a party of our size. The room felt small and crowded at the time and there was little room to move around. Other than that, the meal was quite excellent. The steak was perfectly cooked but luke warm when it arrived; forgivable as it was busy. The sides were pretty good. Especially the lobster mac and cheese. The cocktails we're mixed well and unfortunately the server only checked on us twice so we only had the chance to order one round of drinks. At around $80 per plate it was a lovely meal with a few forgivable exceptions.
My wife and I had an extraordinary experience at Nick and Sam's. The service was amazing, the food was amazing, the drinks were amazing, the bill was not so amazing. We travel quite a bit and love to enjoy a good meal. For the occasion, Nick and Sam's did not disappoint. I would not recommend this place for an average night out, unless you are rolling in the dough, but nonetheless it was a very highly enjoyable experience.
The steaks are awesome. I have had better but this was exactly what you'd expect from an upscale steak house. My wife and I took her dad here for his birthday and our waiter (Ed, I think) hooked us up with free champagne to celebrate. All our steaks were ordered medium rare and they came out perfect. Had brussels sprouts and garlic mashed potatoes as sides and both were very good. Solid wine selection as well. Very expensive but that is obviously expected at a place like this so prepare yourself ahead of time for that so there are no surprises Only real complaint would be that it is very noisy. The tables are pretty close together and the kitchen is open to the main dining area so it is just a loud place in general. They had a pianist playing but you couldn't even hear the music over the racket which was kind of disappointing. Regardless, solid upscale steak house near Uptown Dallas. Would definitely do it again for special occasions but there are others in town that are just as good.
Wow, top notch food and atmosphere. Probably the most premier steakhouse in Dallas. They have a full menu of wagu beef offerings that everyone should try at least once. Their desserts are huge, definitely something that can be shared.
The service that we received tonight was great. Great customer service and the food was so good. Had just a great time our service and the management made us feel at home 😁
Every single thing about this place was 5 star. The ambiance is relaxing. The decor is beyond beautiful. The staff are welcoming. A.J. was the sweetest waitress I've ever came across. I've never seen waitresses more detailed than any at any other restaurant ever. We were very pleased with every part of our experience there.
NOTE: I only give it 4 stars because I personally cannot afford to enjoy this of my own accord.
Service - impeccable. Atmosphere - enchanting. Selection - impressive. They have a wide variety of cocktails, wine that I could fall in love with, the best calamari I've ever had (and I've had a lot), and a great, intimate private dining setting. I am lucky for my company treating me to such a wonderful dinner. I used to work in several high-end steak houses and this cuts through the fat (pun intended). Not a fan of some of the (I'm guessing cocktail waitresses) uniforms, but I can't say a word, when I did that I had to wear fishnets, form fitting, short skirt, heels, and a v-neck black shirt, so I get it, but I still get frustrated as you wouldn't ask your men to wear such clothes and I am all about employment equality all the way to the clothes (I know the tips must be great in those outfits though! Mine were!)
I wouldn't change a thing as far as steps of service and level of food! Great restaurant, and thank you for the wonderful experience all the people in my company had the opportunity to enjoy.
My now wife and I came here the day after our wedding and we're initially treated to a delicious sparkling rose, if you could tell me the name I'd be delighted. We were seated and attended to by Josiah and he was fantastic. He knew the ins and outs of the menu and was very knowledgeable about the different cuts of meat. We were treated just like everyone else even though we are so young. My steak was perfectly cooked and the fat was delectable. My wife's tuna was cooked and seasoned perfectly and the creme brulee at the end was delicious. We will gladly come back to enjoy another experience at this wonderful establishment. Thank you for the wonderful time.
Very lively and fun place to go for happy hour and drinks. Dinner was only fair. The food was all very salty. The sea bass was tough and over cooked. I recommend going here for drinks and appetizers or for a fun birthday dinner. They have flashing cotton candy and huge slices of cake for special events.
1st time in Dallas and was not disappointed. My Waiter Sean had great recommendations. I went big and did the porterhouse and it was worth every penny. Perfectly cooked with sides of lobster mac and cheese Brussel sprouts. I have no clue how people could possibly give this place less then 5 stars. I would dine here all the time if I lived in the area.
We went for Easter Brunch. It was amazing. They had just about everything. The food was great and there was a lot of it. For kids, they had face painting, coloring stations, a sundae station, and a lady making cotton candy. The cotton candy MAY have been overkill, but it was a truly fun experience. I would definitely recommend their brunch to anyone, especially for a special occasion.
If your picky about your food and service. This is the spot. My wife took me for my birthday. We had a 5 course meal. It came with lamb, sea food, pasta, steak and much more. The appetizers where great too. I'm a steak lover. Usually i go to texas road house. But this place has them beat. Their service and food are more than great, I have no complaints. It is a bit noisy because of so many people but other than that I would highly recommend it.I had a great experience for the 1st time I was there. O and their bartender makes great margaritas.
Great steak place. Good variety on the menu for people who might not be steak eaters. Perfectly cooked steaks.
Tables are situated so that it is hard to walk around. Waters are loud when talking to you.
Drinks are damn good very generous in their serving. Wine menu needs to be redone. To many for people to look at.
Great place to eat.
