I witnessed the new leadership team transform a angry dirty hospital into a well maintained well run facility .Great job to the new hospital management. My twins were born there with major complications and watched the doctor and nursing staff bring my son back to life with placenta seperation and brain bleeds my son is now 15 in high honor classes I owe the hospital my sons life and thank Newport Hospital every day.
Went to the ER and only spent three hours total even with getting multiple tests and blood-work . Everyone was very nice, and professional. The doctor really cared about her patients! Very good experience.
Had a nice meeting with Pat Moore from the foundation nice meeting she gave me a tour. The atrium was architecturally beutiful. All marble very historical feeling went for lunch in the caft although you would think it's a upscale resteraunt will be keeping in touch with and Marie and Sam from the cardiac rehab to step up a plan shorty. Very productive lovely meeting Pat may come down Dow. To Dartmouth to visit
Love the birthing center. We were treated very well. Friendly staff, great room
The nurses are so abusive. Stay away!
Newport, Rhode Island-Lifespan ran hospital- needs a update in their equipment. Out of date medical equipment, air vents and doctors and nurses are working on century old devices.
After Visit summary Report did not have all of the treatment team staff Names or information: Nurse Kaitlyn Lawler was one of the staff member who treated me, and she was absolutely rude. Did not asked if the medication that Dr. Stuart J. Spitalnic prescribed was working or did not show any mean of care. (She) Nurse Kaitlyn Lawler was very unprofessional in her rude mannerism in her care. She was more concerned with pushing me out the door of the hospital, then caring for my concerns.
Thank you to the staff below, for their professionalism and medical care:
Nurse - Courtney Benjamin
MD- Stuart J Spitalnic
I was brought into the ED by rescue and they attended to me immediately. Dr Lindquist was very professional and compassionate. He made sure I knew exactly what was happening and when he left, he made sure I knew the next Dr who was taking care of me. That was Dr McAteer who is an amazing and compassionate person. Newport Hospital is very lucky to have these two Dr's representing the emergency department.
Nursing staff is great. Most doctors would rather see my wife in constant pain. She has multiple immune disorders and needs to be on her regular meds on a regular basis. Also 98% of the doctors here do not even listen to my wife and if they keep messing with her regular drug amd pain regiment and keep trying to give her drugs that may potentially kill her. I'll make sure the only doctors responsible loses their medical license. I thought doctors was suppose to help people not belittle their pateints and treat them like dirt.
Disappointed. Phoned in to check on my mother's condition. When I last spoke to my mother about an hour ago, she told me she needed emergency surgery, an appendectomy. The receptionist told me she could not give me any information due to patient confidentiality. I am my mother's medical contact. This is unacceptable. This was an emergency surgery not a planned hospital stay. How insensitive and unprofessional.
