Had lunch here. It wasnt terribly busy at 2:30 in the afternoon. I was seated immediately. Ordered a turkey club, a beer, and a water. Finished the beer and water long before the food came out. Didn't see a waitress from the time I ordered until my good came out. Sat with two empty glasses for almost 10 minutes. The club was good. The chips that came with it were bland. Half were over cooked.

My husband and I have been bringing our friends there for years. We go there specifically for the hand cut French fries. There were four of us in our party and we all ordered Fish and Chips. Our lunch arrived in a timely manner, the staff was very helpful and the fish was good however, the fries were not good. Their texture and taste were like frozen fries from the market. I did complain and a manager, Rachael came to table and stated they try out different potatoes and this particular batch was hand cut but must not be as good as past batches. The consensus at the table was they were not hand cut and they really did not take responsibility for the disappointing fries. My question is why if your signature food is Your French Fries would you change up the potatoes. It makes no sense. They will start losing customers if they insist on saving money by changing their signature Fries! Went back on Easter 2018 and the old fries are back. They are awesome! Shaye waitress was very attentive.

Nostalgic dining in a restored gin mill. Upscale and wholesome comfort food and drinks. Not pretentious, a casual eatery that presents menus and dozens of drinks for all tastes. This restaurant is an oasis in the beautiful South County areas. DIRECTIONS to the CHARLESTOWN RATHSKELLER are GPS handy. You can plug in the name and enjoy the country roads. Horseshoe courts go along with seasonal outdoor dining. There is a warm greeting waiting for you at this star dining experience. Enjoy !

I am so glad I found this place. To say it's good is an understatement. The place is roomy, very clean, the service was above and beyond professional. The food was phenomenal, everything was top notch. If you are in the area, or even if you're not. You will be missing out in life if you do not come here. Try the pork schnitzel, you will think you died and went to heaven.

Awesome, as usual. This place is consistently excellent. I've tried so many different items on the menu and each one has been top notch. Cooked perfect, taste great, and big portions. You can not go wrong with anything you order. The biggest problem is deciding what to order.

I have recommended Rathskeller to so many people. The food is great, and so is the atmosphere. A giant TV in the bar makes it a great place to go watch big games, and of course the back patio and lawn is where anyone would want to be on a summer night.

We love coming here! The food is great. The portions are huge. The service is super friendly. If you want to have dinner here on a Friday or Saturday make a reservation or plan on waiting at least an hour. We wait out back and play Bocce or hang around the fire pit.

They have a unique menu. They serve plates of specialty fries here large enough to be an entire dinner for a small family. I wanted to try the buffalo chicken potato skins, but filled up on fries and beer. This place has a nice atmosphere with free games outside and an outdoor bar too.

This is a great place for an up scale dinner. We've been back a half dozen times and love the food. I recommend the salmon. They also have some good bands play outside on their stage.

We got in quickly which was good. A few turn offsout of 5 entrees, one came out considerably late. Sanitation- you have drain flies galore. They were hovering all around our food and drinks. Lastly- the music is really loud in the bar.

Love this place. Little park out back with outdoor bar games that's really nice in the summer. I've never had a bad meal or a bad drink here.

Great food and great atmosphere. Their truffle fries are the absolute best fries I have ever had, I mean Amazing! The price for the amount of food you get is reasonable, and we are already planing a return trip! If you want good food for a good price, and great service this is the place for you!

Great place for families. Prices are fair, beers are cold, and seafood is fresh. Had their pork bellies once at a wedding, I wished it was the menu. Absolutely the best meal of my life.
