New College is a one of a kind experience. Although the school may not be for everyone as it functions on extremely self motivated students and is very alternative, the education is one of the best. The small campus allows for such a strong sense of community and encourages students to be very actively involved in campus life and campus politics.

This was years ago when I applied and was accepted - very nice from beginning to end. Very bright student who was a tour guide showed us around and noted how accepting the campus was of many different types of people. Beautiful campus next to the water, big dorms, and across the way was the studios of the Sarasota Ballet and on the other side, the Ringling Bros. School.
