The most unhelpful staff I have ever experienced. Every time I have to call no one answers and I do not get a call back for three to four days (or not at all). I once called four days in a row and when I got a call back the call was disconnected and the lady didn't call me back, so I had to start over with leaving voicemails again. I am currently trying to get my transcripts to transfer to another school and have called three days in a row so far and left messages every time. The financial aid department (leesburg campus) is not any better, the man I spoke to about an issue I had, had no idea what was going on. I went to the chasier and asked and she told me what I needed to know immediately; she then proceeded to bring the man out and talk to him and he basically called me a liar and said I wasn't listening to him. Everything about lake Sumter makes me want to cry. I have nothing positive to say about any of the staff I have ever encountered and this is the only reason I am changing schools.

Nice sized classes, 50/50 on the professors. Amber Karlins though is the absolute greatest professor ever. If you need to take english classes, such as Comp 1 and 2, Creative Writing, etc, look for Amber Karlins, great professor very helpful.

I have been going to this school for over a year now and I enjoy going here. The classes are small which I enjoy. I went to Valencia College years ago and I would go here over Valencia any day. All the instructors I have had so far express their care for students and teaching.

I've had a great time at this school; as someone with a limited budget, this school was perfect for helping me achieve my goals of becoming an Environmental Scientist as well as an Engineer. Research your teachers, and engage in the wonderful student life that the students and faculty of this school work so hard to provide!

I love the small class sizes, and the nature preserve. Everyone there is friendly, and there is a lot of student activities and outreach programs. It's a great learning environment.
