Do not treat children fairly very ageist if you have kids find another place to stay.

We fell in love with this place right away. As soon as you enter the neighborhood and drive over the river to reach the second part of the island, you are breathless from the view and the calming peacefulness that comes over you. The people here are all friendly and wave hello. Everyone is a "dog" person and rides on their golf carts with their "best friend", and maybe their family too, lol. The community is well kept and colorful with landscaping (go Dirt Devils!). Security does a great job of being visible and helpful. We look forward to returning as often as possible!

Lots of nice amenities but lots of rules too. Keeps it nice there, but it's a lot of grumpy attitudes because of them. Security people were just plain grumpy. Some places seemed to be pretty good value to rent, and it is close to the beaches. Mini mart and staff there was absolutely 5 star. Rented kayaks and had a great time with them. We'll be back.
