Met some friends at Vivid one night and quickly realized this was going to be one of my new favorite places in the city. I've been there a few times so far, and I have had nothing but positive experiences each time

Terrible service, horrible food, disgusting drinks, ridiculous layout.

    Slow inattentive and unprofessional servers.

Mozzarella sticks wings and fries all gross

    Strawberry drink was nasty

Unbearably crowded and unable to walk around the way they have the tables and chairs. Also not a fan of the crowd, very annoying tables around me, and I could hear their whole conversations since we were literally on top of each other

Only thing good was the beer and it's bottled.

Came here with a group- bought a round of drinks for 5 of us and went upstairs. Three of us went to the bar to order food on the second level. The bartender took my two male friends' food order first (I was the only female). When it was my turn, I asked for mozzarella sticks and he told me I had to go downstairs to order food. I asked him why and he said he couldn't help me. He refused to serve me.

I can only conclude that he was sexist-- he took my friends' orders but refused to serve me. His name was Christia, a heavy set Hispanic male with shaved hair on the sides and a short black bun on his head, server #229 (I checked my friends' receipt). I lost my appetite after this experience. I will never come back here again due to discrimination.

Great during midweek but on the weekend it can get too crowded. Drinks are fair price for DC and bartenders are friendly. The stairs are a hazard specially when you have had some shots.

Hey everyone, this place is great! I go out in the city a lot but never checked out this place. The Friday night vibe was so lit!!! The drinks are super strong and well worth the price. I'm 21 and new to drinking lol so I just stick with the Long Island because it's a classic. $11 there was pretty pricey. But it was really strong. People are friendly and open. It's most gay men, I and just few bisexuals females and lesbians

The bartender upstairs on 7/15 was very abrasive. As we walk up the stairs we were shouted at to come to his side of the bar which we did. Then I asked for a shot and he literally said "So you're really gonna make me chill one shot." he then tried to convince me to buy him a shot to which I did not respond. He poured himself a shot anyway. I'm not sure what his sales tactic is but it needs to be reevaluated as it came off more as bullying rather than sales. Also, if you're going to act like a "big bad bartender" at least make sure you're drinks are good

Find a pretty day, head for their rooftop patio, hang out for a couple of hours. Great vibe, cool neighborhood and bartenders that know how to pour a drink. Not sure how you have a bad time here.

Ok, I am UBER critical! And I must say we had a BALL! We bought our tickets 4 weeks in advance for my b-day June 26. I rented a van from MD (I live in NJ), and we got there right as doors opened. Our group was of 14 people and they took us in immediately! We sat in small sitting area, that is "cozy". When the food was ready - it was ALL HOT, TASTY and PLENTY! I am a foodie - it was good!!!! All my girls enjoyed ourselves as we sang along!

Limited gluten free options. Non-gluten free appears to be good. Okay drink menu. Rather average overall but staff is very friendly. Also has a good decor and atmosphere.

I have been a die hard Nellie's fan for years. Lord knows I could not have survived law school without the lively atmosphere, heavy drinks, and fun crowd at the bar. The bartenders are fun and outgoing. The food is a cut above your average bar food. All around worth a stop in.

Perfect sports bar with good food & chill vibes! We ordered a 3 liter pitcher & Padang, which is fried chicken with seasoned green onions on top. Will definitely recommend to try!
