Fantastic food with a nice round table for our large group in a quiet part of the restaurant. The service was wonderful. Let them know we had theater tickets and they made sure we finished with plenty of time.

This was my first time at a Mediterranean restaurant, and I will be coming back. We gave the Chef's Experience a try and our only complaint is that it was too much food and we didn't properly pace ourselves early on. ;)

Despite that, we powered through, I'm glad we did. The Apple galatopita was one of the best deserts we have had in years. Regardless of what you get for your apps and main course, do yourself a favor and save some room!

The service was memorable - but not in a good way. I felt like I was being herded around and eating on cruise ship (tables CLOSE). Our waiter "couldn't take our order fast" enough and didn't check on us very often. The food was so so. I LOVE Jaleo so I am surprised and shocked to learn this restaurant is in their restaurant group. Skip this restaurant and try something else in DC.

This place was incredible. Far beyond my "I will spend my own money here" threshold, but wonderful.

Try the lamb shoulder. It's $85 but well worth it. And their bar is absolutely incredible. I've come back here just to have drinks before.

I am vegan and our waitress Maria was so accommodating and understanding. She had them make me vegan bread and the food was delicious. The lunch deal is great, can’t beat 25 bucks for 4 items! Will definitely be back. The kitchen gets back up around 12:30

Pick this place randomly on Google maps for a place to celebrate my anniversary. Enjoyed the scenery, delicious food and dessert. They don't really celebrate small events, but will do their best for accommodations. They do have an allergy menu and plenty of vegan options.

Definitely worth a visit!

Great flavors and is authentic. Price is high but it's due to the location and specific clientele. I would go back even if it's expensive. I do like the Turkish coffee and the Mediterranean desserts. Authentic and simple pita bread is fantastic. Great presentation and atmosphere.

Went excitedly with group of family members. Big bill, yet BIG let down with food and atmosphere, overall cleanliness, & service. Would not recommend to anyone. We are all positive people and three have restaurant work experience. We are really easy going but were truly disappointed in this place. I just wanted to leave an honest review because we looked this place up beforehand and when we got there from the get-go, it didn't seem to match up with the reviews at all. Even the table next to us told them it was a horrible experience for them too. I have no idea how they get these reviews at all?? We stuck it out through the meals and didn't get any better unfortunately. Again, would not recommend.

Zaytinya is an amazing dining experience unlike anything I've ever had or seen before. The location is beautiful, luxurious and high-tech. There are a ton of waiters and waitresses there for all your needs. They make Mediterranean food look like works of art and taste like magic. It's expensive but worth it. Definitely a good special-date or celebratory event dinner outting. Great for lunch too. Everything is served up family style as it is all served as small apps/tapas. I highly recommend it if you're visiting DC.

Phenomenal place to enjoy a nice dinner. My wife and I celebrated an anniversary here, and our waiter made it a lovely evening. We were offered an intimate setting, and the food was beyond expectation. Try something you're familiar with, and try something new. We had 5 plates between the two of us, but probably would've been just fine with 4. The beer and wine list is also exceptional. Finally, a reservation may be a good idea specially if for an occasion like a birthday or anniversary.

Went here a few months ago for a birthday, sat outside on the patio which was lovely. Food was delicious and waiter was very accommodating, even bringing a heater closer for a cold family member. Pricey, but worth it!

One of the best meals ever. The waitress provided excellent suggestions and the service was impeccable. The creative menu gave us great options and the actual food was amazing. Made me close my eyes with each bite to focus on the experience and taste.

This place was on my list because it sounded good. The service was great, we went before the lunch rush.

The food was just OK, the lamb shank was well cooked and we had the veal tartar (good, make sure you squeeze the lemon on it ). Hummus was something that I could have made at home, $7 is a steep price for hummus. Overall it was expensive and the food and flavors were just OK. Not bad but ok. The dessert was yummy, we had the Turkish delight.

It is such a busy place. Waiting time on a Friday wasn't that bad. It was too noisy to sit inside so sat outside. The food was great! The portions are small we ordered 7 plates, 6 were enough.
Love this place and the service was good! Highly recommended.

This was our last dinner in Washington and we have to say it was simply the best place to end our Washington journey. The food is full of flavour, carefully cooked to perfection, the home made hummus with olive oil and the warm pita bread will have you in another dimension. The home made ice cream was delicious with some unique hints of hazelnut. Really loved it. One of the few place I am giving a five star experience!
