Very nice place, guided caverns tour with different difficulty levels. The beginner one you can bring a compact stroller, although there is a short flight of stairs. On site there is also "mining", you buy a bag of dirt with rocks in it and there's running water to pan for rocks, my 3 year old had a blast. There's also a n adventure course and maze, although we didn't try it. Nice place to spend a day.

I was a little worried about this being a tourist trap, but it was fantastic and so unique. I have been to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky, which is also amazing. While this is not as big, I think Natural Bridge Caverns is even better. The stalactites and stalagmites here are second to none. The cave descends quite far into the ground and the water is still dripping creating new formations. The place was worth the trip.

Wow. This place was really cool. It was packed, and I can see why. We went into just the caverns and didn't do any of the other stuff that they have there, which I know is a lot and is packed as well, but the caves were amazing. I really enjoyed looking at all the stalagmites and stalactites, and it was really pretty and breathtaking even though it was really difficult to hear and understand some of the tour guides in there. If you are ever planning on going to San Antonio, Natural Bridge Caverns is certainly an educational and wonderful tourist spot that you should definitely go to!

This place is a great place to bring your family. There is a convenience store. They sell food, such as pizza, hot dogs etc. There is also a rock store. I do think is pricey but they are cool to look at. The tours last around 1:15 mints.
Also the wild life ranch is next to this location so it is Awesome.response / report this review -

We had a great time. After reading the reviews, we dressed appropriately. It is humid and warmer than any cave I've visited in the past. We choose the Discovery tour and arrived just after 9:00 am. With no waiting. Darrell answered all the group's questions and was patient the kids and slow grown ups. The walk is steep and narrow but well paved and there are good railings. 180 feet down is a long way but it was well worth the effort. 180 feet up did seem longer! Our group included 2 preteens and their mom with a senior grand. We spent nearly 3 hours when we got on the surface on the Canopy Zip Line and Challenge followed by the Mining Co. The staff everywhere was welcoming and helpful. We'll be back!

Fun for kids. Loved the sluice for finding gems in their bags of dirt. They have a high ropes challenge and maze which looked fun, but it was too hot out during my visit to try that out. Pro Tip This cave is not cool/cold. Due to the humidity this cave takes in (90% can be) Don't bring a jacket as it's warm. Also, you should be physically fit for this cave If you have doubts then hang back. They have a pretty good slope that's hard on your heels and legs. This cave does have a lot of different formations which are fun. The gift shop is nice. They have snacks and water/pops.

This place is awesome! I tackled my fear of claustrophobia and had a blast. The tour guide was fantastic. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were very clean. There was so much more to do than just the caverns.

We had an AMAZING time. We got up early and went for their first tour so it was just the three of us which is totally fine with me. The prices are great and if you want you can get the ticket for the Caverns and the Natural Bridge which is a win-win!
Our tour guide, Larry, did a great job and made quite a few funny jokes that made us laugh and entertained our daughter. The complexity of the Caverns and the knowledge that they are still finding new rooms and exploring it is incredible. And knowing that there is life down there is amazing too. Didn't see any bats or salamanders but we did get to see some tiny beetles that feed the salamanders. Super cool!
And the gift store has a lot of great items at reasonable prices. All of the staff was super friendly and played a long with my daughter because she wanted to buy one of their toy snakes.
Definitely a place I'd love to go back to if we ever get the chance just to see how much the Caverns have changed since they are still forming, growing, and they are finding new rooms.response / report this review -

Great experience. Amazing caverns. Really some of the best I (largest rooms) have seen and I have been to 4 other caverns around the country. The whole facility was well run, clean and very accommodating. Highly recommend to couples or families. Great trip not far from San Antonio.

Oh how this was so wonderful. A group of us led the scouts through the beautiful caverns. There are multiple attractions, so one may take many trips and see something new and each visit. The maze was hard, but in a good way. The staff very informative, and friendly. A must try if your into geology.

Hidden Tours is not as great as the Discovery Tour. Don't need beverages before or during for the most part. Hidden Tours is a lengthy walk back up stairs. So be prepared. Don't say I didn't warn you. Also you want to be as close to the front as possible for the Hidden Tour. You miss out on some of the tour if your a big group and you are within the last 8 to 10 people. This was made obvious, during the Hidden Tour only, when seats on the benches were not available for the last of the group. All in all. Kids and adults walked away satisfied.

Took our 4 year old son here and he loved it! Great tour of the caves. A little pricey but what can you expect for a tourist location. We live locally and it's always a fun trip every few years.

Amazing sights! It was very well conducted, but a bit expensive unless you get the San Antonio go pass and see a bunch of other attractions too.
However, this is a must see! The formations are stunning, truly amazing. It takes 100 years to form 1 cubic inch. You will see millions of year old formations that are beautiful and simply spectacular. Highly recommended! We did it in flip flops and it was fine. Showed up around 9:30 on a Saturday and managed to avoid long lines. We did the combo hidden passages and discovery tour and found both very interesting. Hidden passages guides you through a number of rooms with very interesting formations. Seeing the original shaft that started it all was also fascinating. The discovery tour was very good as well and was more at your own pace, though they prefer you to follow along. The canyons are so impressive. Things are a much bigger scale here though I feel like people were breaking rules more frequently on this one. Easy walk through and a very good place to see caves overall. I wish they had more water fountains but I can understand they want to sell more drinks.

My husband took me on a date to these caverns, and to be honest I wasn't convinced it would be all that amazing. But, i was wrong. It was actually interesting to see the rock formations as most of them are actually quite impressive.
The really amazing part happened after the cavern tour closed. The Bat Conservation owns a cave down the road from the Natural Bridge Caverns and if you purchase the Bracken Discovery tour you get a tour of the Natural Bridge Caverns and a sunset view of the largest bat concentration in the world. There are hardly words for how breath taking it was to watch these creatures exit the cave in wild waves avoiding snakes and hawks.
I would recommend both adventures to families and couples alike. Just keep an open mind!response / report this review
