It's a great place for so many events. We went to the Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith concert Friday. Parking close by was a little steep for us at $20. Amy was wonderful! There were times, though, that we covered our ears when Michael and guest, Jordan Smith, sang because it was extremely too loud for that size building.
Whether you're attending a Blue Jackets game Disney on Ice or even a concert this place is awesome! Great staff amazing food and terrific service all in all! Not to mention it's a beautiful environment all together
Went a concert. Had floor seats close to stage. Was great until a tall guy stood in front of me. Would recommend the sides if you want to be up close but a little ways back so you can see the whole stage without being blocked by the tall people.
Nationwide is a blast; no matter where you sit either in the upper or lower bowl you can see all the action. The Columbus Blue Jackets are always fun to watch. The parking garages in the surrounding area are reasonably priced around $6-$10 to go to a regular game, and Student Rush tickets are only $20 for upper bowl and $30 for lower bowl by the ice.
I've now seen two Blue Jackets games here, and I've been very happy with my experience both times. The atmosphere is pretty electric, and it's just a fun, family-friendly place to watch some hockey. The seating is a bit odd and confusing, and place I sat (Tower 4), had a somewhat obstructed view, but I didn't think it really took away from the experience any. Also, the military discount and student rush tickets are just great deals! I am really thankful they do that and think it's a great way to give back.
I thoroughly enjoy watching hockey games & other events here. The location is good & the staff keeps the arena cleaner than most would expect it to be.
This is a really great arena for hockey or concerts. Everything is arranged inside to maximize visibility and in the areas just outside the seating area to maximize convenience for concessions and restrooms. I've been to well over 50 events here and have always had good experiences. Lighting and sound is top notch and even the nosebleed seats are pretty good seats!
We always have a good time at the Nationwide Arena. We just watched the Blue Jackets win! The Arena is really nice, it's clean, the bathrooms are clean. In fact they have cleaning staff there cleaning during the events. They have a lot of options for food and drink, including alcohol, if that's your thing. The lines for food usually move pretty fast.
The Nationwide area. Is one of the best venues that I have been to that is user friendly when it comes to handicap accessibility. I was here for a US Hockey Clinic, to practice with the US Men’s Paralympic Sled Hockey team. One of the nicest thing about this venue was that even the practice ice rink was in the same building. The staff was very friendly, helpful and the food was top notch.
Great arena, good food service. A bit pricey but no higher than other arenas. Friendly service staff. Not a bad seat in the arena.
One of the best venues to watch a hockey game in the country. Also has a lot of concerts available. Located in the trending Arena District. A great place to go find some food after a game.
I have been to several events at this arena and never had a bad experience. The place is always clean and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Because the blue jackets won a playoff game! And the entrances were quick to get through with easy to find seating. I've never had a bad view after going dozens of times.
Nationwide is one of the best venues I've visited. Great layout with lots of space so you don't feel like cattle being herded along in a crowd. Perfect to catch a hockey game or concert. And the Arena District surrounding Nationwide is awesome! Tons of restaurants and bars. Food is a bit pricey at the arena, so you're better off grabbing a bite and a drink before heading in to your event.
Very nice and modern facility. We had club level seats and the deck area felt very inclusive, with nice open shops and bars with craft brews and cocktails. Drinks are overly expensive, as they are in any stadium setting.
My complaints come from finding handicap seating for a member of our party. They ran out of handicap seating and while working with the staffing, they were rude and unhelpful. It took over half an hour to be assisted in finding a place to sit.
The hockey and game experience was great, with a blimp dropping gifts to the audience and exciting intros and music to pump up the audience. Definitely a great experience.
