Go 4 or 5 times a year. Always something new to learn each time you go.
Free admission and free scooter if you need one to ride instead of walking.
Presidents planes and rocket exhibit is great. You can walk through the presidents planes and see what it was like.
Definitely a must for any family.

Great fun for the entire family! Free admission. Strollers available throughout the museum. Wheelchairs and motorized carts available for the disabled. The collection is amazing, the facility is top notch and the staff is friendly and helpful. I've been twice with my family and we will definitely be back again. Highly recommended.

Great museum. I would highly suggest a trip here. Kid friendly. The holocaust exhibit is presented very well. The overall restorations of the exhibits are very well done. The missiles are awesome, and the WWII section is also phenomenal. Everything was awesome, hence the 5 stars.

This museum is amazing. The number of and quality exhibits is breathtaking. The highlight for me was to be able to personally see planes that I had only read about before, such as the B-36 Peacemaker. The galleries are well laid out and allows you to quickly see what you want to be able to see. Plan to spend a few hours here as their are so many things to see.

This place Is amazing. We have been here multiple times and it gets better each time. We have a 7 and 9 year old and the both love it and my husband and myself love it to. This time going we took 2 extra people and they both thought it was amazing. Thank you for this amazing place. We will return again next year

Wow, this was an amazing visit and an excellent museums. They have a lot of great guided tours you can join if you are interested in learning about a particular era. The planes themselves are just impressive. You can actually stand in the room were President Johnson was sworn in after the assassination of JFK.

Run. Don't walk. Run to visit the National Museum of the Air Force. I finally got to check this off my bucket-list in October of 2017 and was not disappointed.

As you drive towards the museum, you get a sense of the size/scope of what you're about to experience. The museum complex is absolutely huge!

The variety of the aircraft, the way they're displayed and the information that is presented is absolutely stunning. We only spent a 1/2 day at the museum and are planning a return trip back.

The only thing that was lacking was the space-shuttle. Beyond getting a feel for the size/scope of the shuttle, we were disappointed with that. Everything else was phenomenal.

This museum is absolutely brilliant. A must see for anyone interested in aircraft and necessity to book at least one whole day. I would never think I see so many rare and unique planes in real. In addition nice shops with aircraft stuff, outside park and more events. Free entrance as bonus.

My husband loves planes and I'm not very interested in war museums. BUT this is AMAZING and I returned 3 times now. This is a very engaging and comprehensive presentation of aircraft from the early days to the present. The R&D aircraft are fascinating. It is family friendly and offers free guided tours. Plenty of docents are available to answer questions. FREE admission!

First time visit for my family and me. We enjoyed as much of the exhibits as three toddlers would allow. 😉 I loved the little atrium style cafe, the gift shop, the photo booth, the service and staff. The overall cleanliness of the place was excellent, and the vehicles and aircraft were exceptionally maintained. I also liked that they had free access to strollers, as this made the visit a lot easier with little ones. We are from Iowa and will definitely make the trip, again. Thank you all, at the museum, for making this a great experience.

This is a must see for anyone who has a love for air and space. You must plan for a whole day to view most of the exhibits here. They do hold bankers hours. They close at 5pm. But are opens 7 days a week. Security check point at the door. if you carry a knife or personal protection equipment you got to secure it some where.

Wonderful experience at this museum. The photos on their website do not do it justice. The planes are amazing, the facility is well-maintained, and the placards are informative and interesting. The on-site cafe is reasonably priced (as in, it's not a TOTAL ripoff) and the food is decent. One thing to watch out for: it's dry. They must run dehumidifiers to preserve the planes. I was dying of thirst all day, and my lips were chapped by the end. They don't let you bring your own water, but there's fountains and they sell bottled water in the gift shop. Stay hydrated.

I'd pay for this museum, yet it is totally free! We'll worth the trip, I went during the busiest times and it still didn't seem crowded as this place is huge and spans well over 4 huge aircraft hangers.
My whole family wife and boys ages 11 13 and 15 all liked it, and didn't complain at all, except the youngest wanted to buy toys first, but we made him wait!
It's worth the trip, even if it's out of the way for you.
The displays are numerous, informative and flawless.

The place is great, nonprofit. The number of aircraft and aircraft related artifacts is amazing. All of it is excellently restored. The staff is great and there is so much to see. I probably spent a total of 7 or 8 hours there and I still think I missed some stuff. It's really cool and I hope everyone can get the chance to see it. I didn't take any pictures of the really old stuff because I want everyone to see that in person. It's truly something special.

I only spent a day, and only in the space museum hanger, but will definitely return to visit again! The staff are super friendly and very knowledgeable, and VOLUNTEERS! Service never stops for some. The cost is free, a small donation gets you a detailed map. A large donation gets you a detailed map! There are opportunities to spend some money on some cool photo ops, the gift shop is great. Can't wait to visit in warmer weather so I can see some of the outside exhibits.
