This is a great place. But to be honest for a Nike Town in middle of New York I was expecting a lot more. Lots of great shoes and gear at standard full price, but not really an 'experience' It was kind of like just another retail shop
Horrible selections all year round.. for any sport and plus smaller sizes run out quick so if the season is about to start go their early. Service is also not so great. This location is just huge and had nice displays. Besides that no reason to come here, know your size (or come to try on) and just order online!
The previous reviews about terrible customer service are correct. Wanted to try on some Air Force 1s and the guy looking after the area had disappeared. The shoe on the shelf happened to be my size so I grabbed it, sat down and started trying it on. The sales person reappeared and literally snatched the shoe out of my hand and then asked for my size.
It took more than 20 minutes for any shoes to appear to try, even though I could than six staff standing around doing nothing. When we asked for an update the sales attendant shrugged us off, "it's coming". Three people arrived after us and got their shoes to try first. Eventually, they brought out shoes in a different size, plus the original shoe that had been snatched out of my hand was given back to me to try on. Just ridiculous.
When I was ready to purchase, the same sales attendant shrugged at us, even though I'd seen from all the people who arrived after me that he could process payments right there. Nike, you should look up who was manning the Air Force 1 area on level 5 on the afternoon of 8 November, the guy with a bushy beard, and let them go, because they're not doing your brand any favors.
I just called in wanting to pick up a new buffalo bills jersey. They staff member were very helpful and let me down easy about them not having any buffalo bills jersey. (I can't blame them since your team has to be good to make it onto the shelf's.) that being said she was very helpful and nice and also gave me some advice. IF you had buffalo bills stuff i would gladly spend my money there :).
Took our teen and tween kids here after a long day of walking. They were very excited to shop. The store is very cool and they were handing out free waters at the entrance. We shopped on multiple levels and our boys were very interested in shoes. I was a little surprised by how many shoes on the wall said "online only". The kids eventually found shoes, but I felt the selection was a little limited for NIKETOWN. I mean, they probably had some specialty pro athlete shoes, but have seen almost the same selection at Dick's Sporting Goods. Still, the boys were excited for shoes and I got them the sweatshirts they needed for chilly NYC.
"Who you with" . Awesomeness when you walk in. Multiple floors of the freshest sports apparel I have seen in a minute. Freshness of every floor. More then enough staff if you need anything and don't forget bring dough.
This NiKE Town is massive. Great selection and great options. You'll come out with something that tickles your fancy. This place is awesome. Great customer service!
Great selection, very knowledgeable staff. Be prepared to pay full price. Awesome store, you feel like an athlete the sec you walk in.
Heaven of Nike on earth! If you enjoy wearing Nike's apparel you are on the right place! Impressive architecture staff should be friendlier those especially to people that are not natives
This store is great! They always have a wide variety of items, wether it's clothes or sneakers. And the customer service is great! And such a speedy checkout!
Really an experience. This is the best niketown I've been to. I love the set up of the store so it's really fun to just wander. And they actually have a big selection of soccer gear which they don't have at Soho.
Nike Town should take pride in their high level of customer service. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The space is also designed very well and floor labels are clear. It's not hard to find what you're looking for. I'm sure it can be a bit intimidating for folks that aren't familiar with what they might need, but the friendly folks working there seem to be ready to lend a helping hand.
Amazing customer service! They welcome you graciously and point you to the right direction with a smile on there face. When you order your sneakers they get to you pretty fast considering the crowd.
I came into this store at the last minute, it was closing at 8 and I got to the door at 7:55 but I was graciously let in and directed to the floor where I wanted to get my shoes. Even though the store was technically closed the employees on the 5th floor spent extra time helping me sort through shoes and were EXTREMELY accommodating when I needed some time to get the perfect pair. Well it was time well spent, because I found a great pair of sneakers!
5 stars to Mike on the fifth floor in men's shoes who was so willing to help us with our shopping.. was chatty, wasn't pushy, was genuine and very very lovely and helpful. Even down to paying we sat down while he took the payment and bagged up our things. True hard worker and you don't get this in the UK! Top man Mike. Thank you! :-)
