This is extremely important for anyone visiting this hospital to read. A while back when I was 5 or 6, they treated me horribly here. They miscalculated and "had" to do surgery on my throat, when it wasn't even something I needed surgery for. They didn't give me enough anesthetic to keep me from feeling anything, so I couldn't move or tell them I felt every cut and tube. Then, when I was finally able to move again, I couldn't say anything about it because nobody would believe me. I was freaking out though, because I was traumatized, and when I was finally able to move again, they were trying to put an IV that fell out (which is already bad enough since they should stay in the vein) back in, and I started freaking out about it. The doctor got upset at me for moving and shoved the IV back into my vein, puncturing it and causing them to have to do a few surgeries on my wrist, which I was also awake for because I didn't get enough anesthetic once again. They said I could leave that night and I wasn't released for 2 weeks, which was extremely unreasonable. So please don't go to this hospital, I really don't want any of this happening to anyone else. This was traumitizing, especially since I was so young.

3 hours waiting to be admitted. Not another patient in sight. 4 Staff were pretty busy doing house keeping and talking about vacations and pictures. Got an IV when we came to the ER, drained it. Then out of nowhere nurse comes with another IV. Then admission person shows we sign papersstill crickets! We must need bed 26 in a 25 bed hospital!!! Nurses have personality of stumps! Not impressed at all!

Worst place ever!! The doctor yelled at me for caring about my son Will never go there again I'll go to McLaren in Petoskey instead!

Worst urgent care experience ever. Whole experience took almost 2 hours with not a single other patient in sight. They were emptying trashes and chatting about their weekend while I was waiting with an open wound. They gave me a tetanus shot without waiting to see if I actually needed one. Then I get billed for the shot that I didn't need. After getting it remove from the bill, it showed I owed nothing but my account was past due. Billing took 4+ months to send me a "correct" but non itemized bill that didn't show any specifics.
