We hired Mr Handy Man to hang some shelves in the dining room and laundry room. Very professional and showed up in a marked van etc. I gave 4 vs 5 stars because I don’t think he found a stud to hang the shelves. It was two shelves and they are far enough apart where only one could be on a stud so either one is or none is. It doesn’t look like drywall anchors were used instead. I am hoping the shelf doesn’t fall and damage my wall and the collection of souvenirs from traveling that are on the shelf.

I would use them again but I would be more involved next time during the process.

We had Mr. Handyman texture and paint our ceilings after having the popcorn ceiling removed. While at first, we were really displeased with the job and it warranted a 1 or 2 star review (paint had got on the walls, the floor, uneven blending job- in general just looked really bad), after talking to Toni and after she conferred with the owner, Dean, they had the painter come back over within our timeline and make things right. The end result looked good and would have warranted 5 stars, but because we had to haggle for better service rather than just receiving great service the first time around, I’m leaving 4 stars. With that said, because they did make things right, I’ll likely use their services again in the future as their prices were competitive.

I had about six small painting and repair jobs that I needed help with, and David managed to perform all six in about four hours, despite my not having provided any pictures ahead of time. He respectfully wore his mask throughout, and even stayed for a little extra time and rushed to his next job in order to finish everything properly. Furthermore, they honored the value of a coupon Mr. Handyman had sent me in the mail, even though I had misplaced the coupon itself. I'm very pleased, and will definitely be calling again in the future.

Very disappointing experience.
Requested a small / simply caulk repair in my bathroom -> the next day with better light, I noticed the Handyman scratched my window trim area when removing the old caulk. New caulk work looks terrible and had to point out to him to attempt to fix. He tried to repair but still looked mediocre after attempting to fix. Extremely over-priced for the quality of work - had the job been done correctly I wouldn't mind paying for high quality work. Charged me $168 for 1 hour($60 service fee + $90/hour).

Everything about Handyman was great. Easy booking, very available, and Mike and Paul were wonderful. Both very knowledgeable, easy-going, kind, and clearly skilled. We had them install an exterior dog door, it took exactly the time they estimated, cost us $238, and turned out beautiful. We had the exact same door installed in a previous house by another company that changed us $400 and cut the hole too big! Handyman was great. Definitely recommend.

The technician who came in was great and did an good job but their estimates don't mean a thing. I was assured multiple times it won't be over a certain amount but, guess what, it did end up being much more than that amount.
They did end up giving me a $50 coupon after I protested a bit but the entire experience was very unpleasant.

The tech showed up with all the parts and fasteners he might need so no additional extra trips were perform. He fixed a sagging gutter from falling down, since I was just way saying :it shines perfezeclu.
