Such an awesome creation from God. This is a wonderful hike and over looks Denver. You can see the lakes and planes flying in. Nice place to pack in a lunch for a sunset date. It is a steady climb to the top. But worth every step just take your time.

Upon arrival the surroundings were exasperating, such a pleasant trip. Saw a lot of animals such as big horn sheep, bisons, and more. Especially during summer time in Colorado, it tends to get really beautiful with sunflower, white flowers, and fully bloom tree's as well as amazing whether and sites. Definitely will come back again, no doubt!

Amphitheatre out of red rocks..amazing view.. I wish to watch performances there sometimes in future..nice view.. the museum was great to know about its historical significance..must go place if you enjoy great view..

The most amazing, spectacular, beautiful, and one of a kind outdoor concert venue I've ever been to. You are truly missing out if you've never seen a concert at Red Rocks. Some of my favorite memories are concerts at Red Rocks! Be prepared to walk a lot, and climb many, many stairs even if you have front row seats. Get there early to get great parking and tailgate before the show!

Most amazing venue I've ever been to in my life! I got Wu-Tang Clan, Immortal Technique, and Jedi Mind Tricks on Halloween. I'll definitely be back for more epic shows, even though I live in Maine! An incredible experience overall!

My all time favorite concert venue! Truly one of a kind. The views, the vibes and the sound are unmatched by any other venue!!! Generally a great drink and food selection but you can take your own food in, check out guidelines online before you plan your visit. And the staff are always friendly and helpful!

It was great to finally visit this place and see why it's so popular. The red rock formations are a thing of beauty and makes any trip truly worth it. The geologically carved area that would become the amphitheater sits at a higher elevation so you get breathtaking views of the landscape, especially on a clear day. Downtown Denver's skyline is also visible in the distance, but you need binoculars or an advanced zoom camera to get a closer look. We'll definitely see a concert on our next visit.

We were here for a total of three hours. We started at the Red Rocks Trading Post at the base. Inside that building, we checked the gift shop and the Music Hall of Fame gallery, which features John Denver and many folk and jazz music greats. There are no admission fees there. We then walked uphill to the amphitheater, which took half an hour, with lots of picture taking stops along the way. We visited in the winter so the icy sections of the walk path also slowed us down. We took the same way going down, although there are other paths. If you don't prefer the hike, you can drive up to the top and park near the amphitheater.

This place is such an amazing venue for a show! Day or night this place has some amazing views looking eastward. This amphitheater has a light grill restaurant downstairs, near where the bathrooms are located. They host special events and celebrations for rental available as well. If you are feeling up to it, come for a workout and try running the stairs up and down.

It's a damn good thing this place is so amazing for a venue. Scenery is great and the acoustics are amazing. You can even hike there when the place is not booked for a event.

That being said, why does the staff always have such a terrible attitude. You are in the middle of such wonderfulness to just, enjoy your job and the people you have to come in contact with.

Always LOVE going to Red Rocks! Got to tour all the tunnels & dressing rooms under the stage at the last concert I went to there. The best place ever to see a concert & Film on the Rocks is amazing but I haven't been there for that in a while. Gift shop & museum there is fun to look around in! Seeing the wildlife is awesome. Saw a rattlesnake, a deer & a raccoon last time too!

A must-see if visiting the Denver area. An open park with hiking trails surround one of the most famous concert venues in the world. See a show if you can, but even if you can't it is worth visiting for the natural beauty and musical history. Museum on site that showcases past performances

If there's ever any musical artist that you really enjoy this is the best place to see them. Period. I never miss my favorite artists when they come to Red Rocks as each time is truly memorable. The staff does a very good job and always keeps it remarkably clean. The city scenery in the far distance juxtaposed by unique and beautiful red rocks jutting out of the Earth will make an impression on anyone. If you're lucky enough to see a show that goes into the nighttime you will have a decent view of the planets and stars too!

Beautiful scenery around the Venue! The free transportation uphill was helpful! The amount of workers was excellent, and the service was great for me. The parking lot had some crazy drivers, but we made it out with patience! The free soda for being a designated driver was unique to see! The light show was awesome! Hope to come back for another visit!

You just can't beat the sound quality from the natural amphitheater at Red Rocks. The venue is absolutly stunning, and the view is gorgeous! There's nothing like it anywhere else. They have a great shuttle service from the disabled parking lot up to the entrance gate. The entire staff is courteous. The restroom facilities are clean and well stocked. The only problem barring me from giving a full 5 stars is that the disabled ticket access is just absolutely awful. Only one row at the bottom and one row at the top is completely absurd for the large disabled population living in Denver that want to attend concerts. There is no reason why sections of the next following rows could not be marked off for the disabled as well. And even with the two rows they have available now you can't get tickets because computers are buying them up before the disabled even have a chance. Then when you get to the concerts half the accessible seats are empty the entire concert. It would be great if they could address this issue so that all can enjoy Red Rocks, not just the able bodied.

I was in town for business and only had about an hour to explore the park, but I must say, in that short time I was impressed. The park itself is free to enter and there is a 1.4 mile loop you can hike through the red rocks. It is beautiful.
I did not make it to the amphitheater but would hope to return someday to see it. However, there is a pretty cool museum / gift shop that shows you a lot from past shows. There are pictures and memorabilia you can look through while you are there.
The gift shop prices are not too bad. About $20 for a shirt (some a little more, some a little less).
But hey, if you have limited time or all day, this is a great place to check out if you are in the Denver area.

No matter what event you see here, you will have a great time. The view is perfect from anywhere for the stage and the scenery behind it. The bathrooms are very nice and there is more than enough parking, although your walk to the car will depend on how early you get there. A must visit for any and everyone. There is also a ton of workout groups here or you can run the stairs if you want. If you prefer hiking there is an abundance of easy to moderate trails.

Beautiful place with Breaktaking views. Pets are only allowed when concerts and events aren't going on. Great place to run stairs or just to hang out. There is also a grill to grab a bite to eat.

This is possibly the coolest concert venue I have ever been to. It's not for the faint of heart. Just walking up to get in is a trek. I don't think either of my parents could have done it to be honest. But the entire walk is an experience. By the time you're actually in to see the band you paid for, the show feels like the icing on a cake that's already delicious. The red rock, the ramp up, the vistas of the surrounding area, and the seats carved out of the sides of the mountain, are all exquisite. If you have the time to check out the visitors center you'll see that Red Rocks also has a long history of some of the most popular acts of all time preforming here. I don't know if I'll get to go back, but I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to see this with my own eyes. It's one of those experiences that fills a vacancy in your soul that you didn't know existed.

It's friggin Red Rocks hats not to like. I have seen more shows than I can remember here. My parents used to take me to see cheep trick and the beach boys here when I was younger.
