This place was magical. To be able to see and walk in a house as old as it is and to know the history and feel what it was like back in the early 1900’s. It was awesome. A must see. Takes about an hour if not less. Really cool

The audio guide (available for Android and Iphone) was a perfect complement to the amazing restoration and presentation of the house. There are also many helpful museum guides that can help answer any questions! I can't wait to take my parents here when they come to visit!!

Staff was super helpful and friendly. Most importantly they were vastly knowledgeable and answered all questions! House is very interesting I recommend it.

Enjoyed the visit to Molly brown house. The folks over there have maintained everything really well. Despite social distancing we were able to do a self tour using an app. The store right outside the house was super cute and has lots of fun stuff to get.

What a cool place. I am a huge history buff and have been to a lot of places in CO while studying it in school. This one is one of the best places and in the heart of the city. It was so interesting to learn how incredible of a woman Molly Brown. This house is a great place for dad or mom to bring young girls and teach them about a powerful women that comes from their own area. An adventure and mogul, a women not interesting in fame but, living a life style of a renaissance woman. A great person for young women to look up to and hear the story of her life from all the disasters to her amazing accomplishments.

I visited Molly Brown House Museum a few weekends ago, and while the house itself is really beautiful and the story of the occupants is fascinating, our tour guide was disrespectful and rude to our group. We had a mother on our tour with her young, well-behaved child who would occasionally let out a happy "coo." and apparently that was "too much" for our tour guide. She called out this women and her child in front of the entire group, told them they were being disruptive, and made them leave the building! As a bystander on the tour, I felt sad for this mother who was just trying to enjoy a weekend out, which was shut down within 3 minutes of the tour starting. I'm really disappointed in how the situation was handled, and disappointed in the staff at the Molly Brown House.

Interesting tour that gives the true story of the unsinkable Molly Brown. She had been a woman way before her time. The home is well preserved and has plans for more renovation.

My wife and I come here every Halloween for the Victorian Horror stories. The first time I went, I felt silly doing something so "artsy fartsy"but it has quickly become a yearly tradition. The actors who perform really bring the stories to life. The whole setting in a dimly lit Victorian house and the tour throughout really complete the event. My wife and I both look forward to the Poe room the most. And then after the event, the gift shop has some amazing trinkets that don't have the traditional "gift shop" vibeI highly recommend this as a stop.

Our tour guide was knowledgable, and the length was perfect. It can be a little warm in the house, so be prepared for that. However, there are plenty of places to sit down should you need to. Overall, it's a pretty interesting tour about a fairly interesting woman, but you probably won't learn anything earth shattering. It was a nice afternoon activity to burn some time.

Fun stop to discover more about the real "Molly" Brown. Great informative tour lasts about 45 minutes. They often sell out, so call in advance or go early and give yourself a little more time. My kids (ages 8-9) enjoyed it as well. They decorate for a haunted tour around Halloween and the decorations can be a little creepy for kids, so if that bothers your young ones, choose a different season to visit.

This is a cool place to check out and I'm glad I finally made it after living in Denver for five years. The tour was about 30 min and was very informative. Our guide knew a lot about Molly Brown. It was interesting to learn more about her and this era in Denver and Colorado. I went with my mom, grandma, and two teenage cousins, and we all found it to be and interesting and worthwhile tour.

If you like history and museums the Molly Brown House is a must-see stop. Lots of facts and figures about Molly Brown. A restored 1890s home and it will take you 45 minutes to an hour to see it. You need to be able to walk up and down steps. No air conditioning so it can be a little warm on a hot summer day. Staff and the nonprofit that owns it is most dedicated to preserving her history. Friendly and knowledgeable people there.

Cool history surrounding this lady. The facts of her life was fairly close to the movie. Very interesting architecture in the home. Apparently this house was one of the first to have the electrical wires in the walls. Sounds funny to us, but homes with electricity had the wires exposed on outside of wall. Parking is an issue. We parked in a pay lot and walked. Nice gift shop and staff are knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly!

Enjoyed the tour! Tour guide was a bit much but very knowledgable. Probably would have never gone had it not been for having friends in town and trying to explore denver with them! Learned a lot about my own backyard!

Great place to learn about Margaret Brown and the times she lived in. Gift story has lots of interesting fun things. I added to my Christmas ornament collection. A friend from out of town who is a Titanic enthusiast wanted to go there. I had not been in a number of years and forgot how nice it was. I am debating on signing up to volunteer even!

We visited on a Saturday afternoon during the summer. The tour guide was rude, spoke too fast, and did not seem to have patience with children. She did offer up interesting facts on Molly Brown, but just graced the surface of Ms. Brown's amazing life. The home was not where Brown stayed and therefore, does not really show the character of the woman. She used it as a rental for most of her ownership while she stayed at a hotel when in town. The home itself is dark, cluttered, not ventilated, and small. I would have limited the group to no more than 5 to keep the tour under control and enable more questions and time to look around. The tour itself was rushed and did not feel hospitable. I think that if the tour was revamped to include more personal details about Brown and her family, then it would be more interesting. The carriage house offered more information than the tour did! Also, I think that self guided tours would be more beneficial than the guided tour due to the size of the home. No pictures are allowed, but the home is too dark for pictures. I live in a 1902 Victorian and they are built to let the light in! The museum should open the windows and allow breezes to refresh the stuffy house and reflect sunlight like it was meant to.

Very interesting piece of history and tour. It is said the place is haunted. From my experience, I did see something on the third floor although no one was up there. Also experienced cold spots that no one else felt.
There is a small gift shop in back of property. If you are visiting Denver, this is definitely one place you should check out. Price is very reasonable, however, parking is available off street.response / report this review -

Make sure you stop by Molly Browns house when in Denver, learn about one tough "nasty woman" who got it done. Thanks for an amazing tour and history lesson! Great selection in the gift shop as well.
