Know what you’re getting yourself into before going!
1. It’s cramped. No, you didn’t read that clearly enough. I can still remember the guy’s deodorant scent sitting next to me, and he wasn’t even dining with my group.
2. It’s loud, grungy, and hectic. This isn’t this place to bring grandma unless you don’t want to actually talk to your grandma, then this is the place. Expect near-shouting as your standard verbal intensity for the duration of the meal.
3. This is the best burger I’ve had in all of Boston. The selection is obnoxiously large. Try to go with one of the pre-made pre-named burgers. It’s easy to get overwhelmed and just want to build your own. But trust me, they known what they’re doing.
4. The service is genuinely great when they start to warm up to you, just remember they’re usually running around doing too much and expected too much of.
Had a great experience and am needing this review before I get hungry all over again.
Awesome burgers! They taste so good and have unique ingredients that pair really well.
Clam chowder was good (nothing spectacular).
Our server was extremely unhelpful and unfriendly, however. We asked for water multiple times and didn't get them until we had almost finished our whole meal. He also never came back to check on us/refill any waters. That's the reason I have to ding a star off of this place, but food is a 10 out of 10.
No frills, but great service and a decent burger. I "had it my way" - custom, and they were glad to do it, despite the many options. I will be back.
Initially kids want to go ShakeShack, but I insisted this burger place based on recommendation of a local student. Foods are good but a bit expensive. Services are so-so. I like the funny names of their burgers , and enjoy the old posts on the walls!
Amazing handcrafted burgers that just barely makes the price worth it (I paid roughly $17 for the Cuba); the ingredients were ok and the baked beans are goodlots of cheeses to choose from as well, but I think it's ridiculous that a synthetic raspberry lime rickey was $4.50. It's not like they spend their time muddling fresh raspberries in the back of the house for you with organic sugar cane. The sweet potato fries were cut thick, but not as crispy as I would have liked.
Horrible and terrible service. They called me and my family nazis just because we had our heads shaved (my 5 yr old son has leukemia and we shaved our heads in solidarity) and refused to serve us food. I don't know what hell is going on politically around the area but these people are never getting one cent from me or my family.
Love the atmosphere If you want a true burger from a true burger place This is the spot. You may have to wait in line outside But its well worth it! Huge variety of burgers and toppingswith the added effect of being named after famous celebrities.
Yes, the place is famous due to the numerous stars drop-in and the fact that it's literally in Harvard. But honestly, the food is just ok. Not a must do.
Great burgers and fun atmosphere.
Definitely worth visiting at least once, but sometimes not worth the long wait.
Excellent burgers with cheerful names. I love this place though it is extremely busy and you are always sharing table with strangers, which kinda makes it fun as well. It is cash only and they don't serve beer. Still the burgers are worth it!
Great vibe. Ordered the burger medium rare, perfection. Lots to see and choose from.
Very overrated Burgers and onion rings. I was very disappointed with the food. The party's weren't that great. It definitely has a lot
Of options to choose from so you can always find something. Its a good destination for Bacon lovers
