Jose never fails to impress Food is great and so is the service I usually sit at the bar where the bartender is efficient friendly and aims to please.
Classy joint! We were out there on the fire line for many days last week eating cardboard and salty snacks. The meal they prepared was fabulous! The costumers wouldn't let us pay. We were super grateful. Amazing chicken fried steak, pork hash, and fresh squeezed OJ. Thank you Joes Cafe.
Food & drinks always good here. Service is excellent. Most of the wait persons have been there for years. Joe's is a Santa Barbara must go to restaurant.
It was my first time there for my birthday get away and all i can say, Excellent food and great service by Eddie.
If all waiters were as good and Eddie, then i would not have a problem tipping. He was very accommodating.
Best BBQ in Santa Barbara. The meat is extremely tender, but not boiled. Very flavorful.
Have their clam chowder, also one of the best in town. The server suggested that I put a few drops of TapatÃo to the soup, .. it was completely a different experience.
Denise is an awesome person who treats you like family. Cheers
Crowded, but the service was good. I did not care door the brisket sandwich. It was poorly cut, and over sauced in basic brown gravy. The fries were okay. Good on service, but my sampling of the food was not up to par.
The service was terrible, clearly the waiter was very new at the job and not trained. I had a steak and it was tough and had a funny flavor to it. I sure hope that I don't get food poisoning from it! Awful place.
We came here for breakfast, because it was right across the street from the Starbucks nearest to us. Great atmosphere, casual but classic. Really good food. I wish we spent more time in Santa Barbara to come here for lunch or dinner. Fast, efficient service
Super sweet staff, comfortable interior, great photos of current and past employees along the wall make it feel like a nice family spot. The chili was real good!
Coffee was blah, ordered the Joe's scramble. Kinda bland in flavor. Added a ton of salt and Tabasco to make it have a taste. Wife got chicken fried steak. Tough to chew. Hash browns had a funny taste. Overall not that great especially for the price. All above about $35.
Good food. Great service. Can be very noisy when busy but still a good experience.
Solid breakfast place. A bit pricey but so is most stuff in the area. I particularly enjoyed the home fries. Very crisp and delicious with some salsa.
The food was pretty good. BUT service was horrible. The waiter was gone for long periods of time, we never got refills on our drinks (even after asking and which we should not even have to ask), and part of our order was missing which is all completely unacceptable. All this when it was not even that busy. If service was decent then this place would have gotten 4 to 5 stars. Had high hopes for this place with all the good reviews but was let down.
