The views at this place are unbelievable, they have a very unique layout in a building that was built in 1923. The membership is fairly expensive, but you get a lot of access for your money. The wait staff was efficient during our event but extremely noisy, and not very friendly which included some literal eye-rolling from the staff. The people at our table laughed that we felt like we were going to get yelled at by the lady and it was actually a joke amongst other people attending how grumpy some of the staff was. I still rated it 5 stars because I am only rating the venue. The staff gets one star. I give them a little bit of Grace because they were dealing with two other events at the same time.

Oh my goodness. Where do I begin? My husband and I live in Indiana and decided to do a destination wedding in Colorado. I visited Mt Vernon twice in our planning process but 99% of our wedding was planned remotely. Mary and the other event staff were spectacular. Professional, kind and helpful from start to finish. The venue and surrounding scenery is gorgeous. The food was awesome. Many family and friends said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding. For many of our guests, it was their first time visiting Colorado. Mt Vernon and its impeccable views were a perfect immersion into the beauty of Colorado.

Place is spectacular, but the buffet was not kept filled even during the first round when people were trying to get food.

Came here for a rehearsal dinner. Facility was immaculate, the staff were all excellent and the views are incredible. Food was also very, very good.

We we're at a celebration of life service far key Gibbs ,Mount Vernon did a real good job making all of us comfortable with a private room and wonderful food

One of my favorite spots to go for a variety of events. Beautiful amenities, food and views. I think of it as high class casual and always enjoy everything about it as a non member. I know members have a huge variety of nice program and event offerings.

Beautiful view, beautiful facility, the staff is friendly, food was great, and it is handicapped accessible!! Great place to have a work seminar or a wedding.
